(br) wrote: One of the best thing ever put on screen! It is the definition of raw emotion from an outstanding cast and shot beautifully. This film will forever carry resounence as a highly regarded film everyone should see.
(gb) wrote: I liked this movie. Had some faults which angered Steph, but the positives outweighed the negatives for me. As an aside, it wins the award for the most mumbling British actors of the 2000's. I've watched Welsh films, Scottish films, I literally grew up listening to the BBC, and never have had a problem understanding them. This movie...thought I was going to wear out the rewind button on the remote. Made the volume of Merchant/Ivory movies seem like transformers movies. SPEAK UP!
(it) wrote: Pretty good. I think the casting of Costner is perfect. His style is bland prep-boy-all-grown-up. But here that characterization has an extra layer below it. It works.

(mx) wrote: Great crime thriller & worth the watch.
(fr) wrote: I actually liked this movie. It could have been because there was some great eye candy. :-) And this main character had to reevaluate her ideas about relationships, which ended up the better decision.
(mx) wrote: Not a very good film, but Malcolm McDowell's performance is commendable and it has one of the hottest naked man scenes in the history of non-gay cinema.
(fr) wrote: Interesting, but never really grabbed me. Construction and flourescent lights continue to be consistent Chinese visual cues.

(ag) wrote: This film actually has some funny moments in it... the kooky thing is, I think they were meant to be funny. Recently shown on TCM "Underground", it was enjoyable. It's one to have with a beer and a big bowl of popcorn.
(it) wrote: It was awesome acting conveying the terror of his situation !! Bravo !!
(mx) wrote: A carbon copy of the (mostly not too good) dozens of other modern teen ghost flicks like it, The Apparition re-uses the same plot with the same ghosts and the same mediocre acting. 34/100
