He keeps us entertained and engaged with the story and sheer hilarity that goes on in Indian courts, if the story is to be believed to be based on factual info. If you like a courtroom dramedy, Bollywood style, (i.e. drama + comedy), watch this flick! :)

John H (jp) wrote: Really, I liked the book and it was a bit more romantic. But the movie got in what it could. I liked the casting and the location, but there were things missing from it as far as side plots and some of the other action. But still. Great movie.

Valentina K (ca) wrote: I actually really loved this film. Such an under-appreciated little comedy/drama. It's not filmed in the typical style and the storyline is anything but typical. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Anton S (gb) wrote: One of the most impressive films I ever saw. Here, like in von Trier's Dogville, are separated group of people who cannot escape the place they are in, and can't avoid each other. There is a phrase in a film, that these ways will do a full striptease of human basic needs. They did, and the way it is shown is... beautiful?..

Chris T (gb) wrote: Mikey is so bad it's almost good.

Van W (br) wrote: Both the film and Bochner are seductive, erotically charged, and intriguing in this worthwhile thriller.

Robert U (ag) wrote: The movie that inspired my childhood neighbor "Murf the Surf:""The Star of India, a golfball-sized gem which legend says was formed in the earth by sparks from the Star of Bethlehem was the most famous star sapphire in the world. It was stolen from the American Museum of Natural History on a rainy October night in 1964. The boldness of the theft impressed even the police. Jack Murf the Surf? Murphy, who was 27 at the time, and another man, Allen Kuhn, had just seen the Jules Dassin film Topkapi? which detailed the theft of a priceless gem from an Istanbul museum. According to published reports, the athletic Murf dangled from a 125-foot rope and swung onto a fifth floor window ledge that led to the gem room of the museum. Murphy waited until the night watchman(TM)s flashlight disappeared then entered the museum through an unlocked window. He used the sound of a plane passing overhead to drown out the noise of breaking into the glass jewel case. After stuffing several gems in his pocket, he went down to Times Square and grabbed a drink at a local bar.

Steve T (ag) wrote: There is a saying: "Even a broken clock is right twice a day." Every now and then, Adam Sandler makes a great movie. This movie is pretty good but it goes back and forth between sadness and extreme hilarity. This movie could have been perfect had it been edited properly. This is where Judd Apatow takes the anomaly of the "Knocked Up" 2 1/2 hour comedy too far. He would continue this I am sad to say. I do wonder to myself - Does Adam Sandler know that the stupid movies parodied in this movie are a direct reflection of his own stupid movies? Regardless - once again - we know that if Adam Sandler is starring in a movie that was NOT produced by Happy Madison - it will probably be good.

DOUG S (ag) wrote: It is a great family film with lots of heart!
