Mel C (kr) wrote: Watched ten minutes then decided to switch off and watch my paint dry instead, paint had more of a plot and better acting skills. The half a star is for pity sake.

Monjur A (us) wrote: Good music, terrible film.

Brad W (fr) wrote: Such an interesting story based on true events. Was able to add a touch of comedy to a very serious time. I was a bit annoyed at Clooney was so involved, ruined it a bit making it more about him at times. Great cast though!

Grant H (es) wrote: Incredible movie. SLC Punk is a clever combination of a punk comedy and a coming-of-age drama. The story is actually quite original, Merendino using his experiences living in Salt Lake to help with this film. The performances are all great, but the one that stands out amongst the rest is Lillard. He's not only a brilliant comedic actor, but he also shows his skills in dramatic acting, his narration being smart in how it combines his hardcore punk mentality and his questioning his place in society and the future. Overall, it's hilarious, stylish, insightful, and Lillard's tied best performance of his career.

Steve A (ca) wrote: A work of genius one-note underground filmmaking.

Nick M (es) wrote: Liked it a bit more than the first! The story was just more interesting, but the action was just too crazy for me.

Norm d (fr) wrote: Don't get the low scores. Woody examines another of his entertaining neurosis with a cast & crew that gets it done, especially Emma ... again, in her second Woody. Not a Phoenix fan, he, too, is pretty good in this morality - or immorality - play. It might be said that Woody on-location has made 'em better than at home in NYC. This film can be enjoyed much more than the ratings indicate, and better than "Blue Jasmine" that got the raves. But it's a Woody. Don't go to a baseball game if you want to watch football !!
