Jeffrey V (gb) wrote: Not a Major Studio film, nevertheless to Anyone who likes, epic space battles this is first in a series of watchable B movies. Story is good, second half movie improves. Low budget but decent graphics. There's just not alot out there in this specfic genre and that said, it released at a good time. Lacks strong acting but the story carries the movie. In fairness I gave it a higher rating due to the attempt and concept as well as the story which becomes only obvious, later in movie. If you enjoy war in Space, you'll admire the effort, even if restrained by the budget.

Guilherme E (kr) wrote: Lacking a balance, the film is saturated with sex scenes and just minor gore. The acting is explosive and disturbing, sordid themes and a mistery that keeps the flow going until the very last moments of the film, although it won't leave much to think about after its end.

Alex r (it) wrote: Leprechaun 3 is just as bad, and poorly constructed as the first two entries. Honestly the series should have been only three films. Unfortunately, there would be three more stupid, pointless and absurd sequels in this series. After two films dealing with a murderous leprechaun you'd think that three films would be enough. This third entry in the series offers little entertainment. The film suffers from a poor cast, poor acting poor directing. The comedic elements don't work, and it makes an irritating comedy horror flick. This is an odd film that tries too hard at being an effective comedy horror film. The humour is so over the top it's not even funny, it's tiresome, and it falls apart quickly. The film tries to do too many things at once and it just doesn't work. By third sequel, the Leprechaun franchise was already showing signs of scrapping the bottom of the barrel. This film third entry doesn't do anything interesting. The ideas are poorly expressed and the film is a vehicle of mediocrity. An awful comedy horror film, Leprechaun 3 misses the mark, and it's just another sequel in a franchise that never should have been. I'm all for cheesy horror, but there's something about these films that don't do it. Leprechau8n 3 should have been the last in this series, and this is yet another sequel that is stupid, poorly thought, one that doesn't do anything to really entertain. Once the notion of the killer leprechaun wears off, and it does, you realize these films really are a waste of time. Third film is like all the others, boring, stupid and dull.

Victoria N (kr) wrote: Perfect movie. Great gore, super corny, boobs, and best of all plenty of great one liners. Seriously, this movie is dripping with puns."...our Moms are gonna chew our asses out!"

Matthew C (ag) wrote: A little gem I did not know about and in some ways hard to believe it was a box office disappointment. But the childlike fantasy film for families probably couldn't find its audience but it still made $57 million which isn't bad. 1988 was the year of Rain Man and Roger Rabbit so I can see this one fading into nostalgic memory especially with the very poor critical response. I enjoyed this movie though. Unique heroes, unique villains, fun and swordplay along with great set pieces and visual effects add to a heartwarming story of those underestimated accomplishing amazing things. Sort of following Lord of the Rings thematically. Sure some of it is hokey or repetitive, but it has all of the ingredients for an adventure. Some things are a stretch but I think Willow's uncompromising loyalty and heroism plus his drive to return to his family truly carries this film very well. Not a waste of time.

John B (ru) wrote: I'm not quite sure if George Lucas was involved with the sequel. We know he doesn't have a reputation for making unnecessary sequels (ha ha). Anyways, this one should have been shelved in a hurry. We end up hating the characters that we loved in the first film.

Johann M (fr) wrote: A beautiful 1989 comedy-drama starring an already-old Morgan Freeman and the oldest Oscar actress winner Jessica Tandy who would die some year later. This 62nd Academy Awards' Best Picture Winner has a very heartwarming tale adapted from a play that depicts the seemingly troubled and funny relationship between an old lady and his driver. The Make-up and Hairstyling level of this film is truly impressive!!

James O (it) wrote: Plot is a load of nonsense but it's visually brilliant, some great kung fu, ludicrous dub and flying scenes. Incredibly produced guff to savour.
