Scottie F (it) wrote: Great movie. I watched it because I'm a huge fan of Stahl and Tucker. Sucks that Tucker received 4th billing after a 'Twilight' actor. Tucker, with his list of acting credentials, definitely deserved 3rd billing. At least.

Tanveer A (au) wrote: It starts off well but it's linear and too predictable. Al Pachino has not been doing any great movies lately. He is better than these..
Jonathan G (ca) wrote: It seemed like an attempt at a Mad Max-style post-apocalyptic film with a director not fully ready to delve into the "crazy" like a George Miller would. It shouldn't have been labeled a bomb though. It had a lot of strong points, but also many weak ones. Worth a watch by adventure and action movie lovers. Rating: 7.5 / 10

The plot thickens when Holmes discovers that the perp is a master of disguise who could possibly be anyone in the community. The Scarlet Claw will annoy purists since it isn't based on a story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and it also takes place in the then-contemporary date of 1944. Still, this is a well-acted movie with a genuinely interesting mystery plot. It's also the strongest of the later Holmes movies featuring the team of Rathbone and Bruce.

Jane L (gb) wrote: A piss-poor MADAGASCAR ripoff. Say what you will about that movie--at least it had better animation, characters, voice acting and jokes than THE WILD! The only thing redeemable about it is that it's at least a little entertaining for smaller children, however; it's completely forgettable and borderline unwatchable for everyone else.
