Tracy W (de) wrote: A bloodcurdling juvenile crime-thriller in which students are happy to cheat, rape and kill for grades. Wringing nerve-shredding suspense from a flawed but brilliantly composed script, helmer-scribe Shin Su-won raises the sadism bar among South Korean films on school bullying, decrying and indicting the country's harsh, class-biased education system with images of exam hell that will resonate with young audience members across all of Asia.

Alex B (ru) wrote: If you've ever been with someone who has never been within 250 miles of the Mackinac Bridge, this is how you explain the U.P. to them. So many memorable moments and hilarious jokes make this extremely rewatchable. A must own.

Trey W (gb) wrote: A crappy version of the first Home Alone. All the characters are different. And the acting is terrible. Man really bad. Grade: C-

Bobby K (it) wrote: While not the best of Mel Brook's work in the seventies, High Anxiety is a laugh inducing love letter to the films of The Master of Suspense. The jokes hit more often if you know your Hitchcock, but that souldn't stop you from finding a favorite moemnt in this film that you will qoute with your friends. It's little surprise Alfred himself loved this film.

Jeff R (fr) wrote: A hopeless future, an empty past. You may have given up on yourself, but your need for others never dies. Rock bottom here folks. Stunning performances all around. There's no suspense, resolve, or climax; no start, middle, or end. Just borrowed time throughout.

Daniel T (kr) wrote: It's a solid independent film. Everyone is on par with their acting abilities--especially Terrence Howard. He is great in this him. However, the story isn't as good as it could be. In fact, the back story behind Terrence Howard's character, Hollis, is incredibly interesting. A man who is sterile finds out his wife slept with his brother behind his back, so they could have children together. That is an interesting story. I couldn't take my mind off of it throughout the entire film.

Jon C (ru) wrote: Julia Roberts' performance is magnificentthis movie rings true of 'Bridesmaids' and others of its kindstill it's not total formulaJuilanne starts out to win back her best friend before his big wedding comes up and in the process takes a new 'best friend' in the form of the brideshe figures if she can drive a wedge between them the wedding is called off and she can have the man of her dreams againthere's quite an abundance of laughs during this whole ordealat times you think Roberts' character is very shallow and being a tad selfish and destructive then again you see why she's so determined to get her best friend to realize that he loves herthe music gets in the way a lot making the damn thing seem like an insufferable musical, however, the majority of the film is charming
