Believe it or not, I'm paying this film a complement. If a movie can make me feel this dreadful on the inside, then it's doing something right.

As each sequel was made and inspired from this flick, this is a series that falls hard each movie that comes out. This one needless to say is the creme of the crop when is comes to let's just say...the crappiest installment! Stay away Crow fans, not even worth the popcorn munching!

Or maybe the latent savagery of the world at large? Any who, it's all thrown into the pot here and stirred to a frothy burn. The Coens seem to have mastered the fine old world skill of speaking at length very intelligently while never in fact saying a blessed thing. Never uninteresting and fascinating to observe. .. for a bit.

Gabriel I (au) wrote: I just watch an hour and a fifteen of nothing. Thanks..."The Strangers" is one of those horror movies that mainstream audiences pretend to love just because they think it's a hardcore horror film. The killers toy around with the couple for about an hour for no reason, it just seems like a waste of time really. And it all leads to the last 15 minutes where they tie the couple up in chairs, and stab them a couple times... Then they leave and did not manage to successfully kill both of them. Great.
