At an annually pace, a huge colony of ants is forced to collect every piece of food that grows on their island for a group of menacing grasshoppers. But that all changes when a misfit inventor ant named Flik accidentally knocks over the offering pile thus forcing the grasshoppers' devious leader Hopper to force the ants to redo their gathering of food. Despite the fact that his friends don't believe him and desperate to help save the colony, Flik volunteers to go out into the world and search for a group of 'warrior' bugs. Instead, what he got was a talented group of circus performers. But when the grasshoppers return and take control of the island, Flik must prove himself a true hero before it's too late. . Sean D (kr) wrote: I seriously didn't care for this at all. It was too much of a copy and paste from other Syfy films. I guess they don't get tired of using the same tired-ass boring concepts over and over again. Overprotective father. Young teenage girl who wants to have a good time with her boyfriend. She has to rise up and become one of the main characters to deal with the problems along with her parents and her friends. Yup. Boring, boring, boring.

Mikey F (nl) wrote: You can really see the depraved level of socialists that infest the entertainment media and a lot of these self sanctimonious reviewers. While these 'useful idiots' promote this disingenuous tripe and seek 'brownie points' or is that 'brown nosing points' for this absolutely steaming pile if dung. Only a 'man' as fat as an elephant could produce such a steamer of this magnitude. A country shackled by the chains of communism. The worshipping of a savage, brutal and coward such as Ernesto 'Che' Guevara and the disrespect served to the Cuban community while this 'man' makes millions from lies and propaganda. It's so disgusting the lack of knowledge of Cuba outside of 'useful idiots' watching the boob tube and letting dross like this stinker of a mockumentary have value. A star is too good and as for the so called experts..... My arse your face.

Alexandros T (jp) wrote: A post-apocalyptic film taking place in the 21st century where dragons have awoken from hibernation and retook the Earth starring Christian Bale, Matthew McConaughey, Izabella Scorupco, and Gerard Butler. This is one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies I've seen. The plot is "interesting" with some potential to my taste, the acting is ridiculous, especially with Matthew McConaughey (viking beard, bald head, and fanatical attitude deemed ludicrous to any sane person included) The script is virtually forgettable, and the directing is nothing special, neither is the music nor the visuals, bearing the same ashy, dreary, post-apocalyptic world the audience has seen before. As an action movie, it is a movie not to be taken seriously at all, but somehow, I enjoy this film for sheer entertainment value (It must be either the concept of dragons ruling the world or the over-the-top, viking-bearded Matthew McConaughey).
Chris C (gb) wrote: Riotously funny from start to finish, this mislead sequel/spinoff to "A Fish Called Wanda" benefits from the hilarious performances of its well-known cast including John Cleese, Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline.

Richard D (br) wrote: An anthology film of three Stephen King stories (two adapted from stories in the "Night Shift" collection and one written for the film) rather tenuously tied together by the presence of a cat. The tone of the film is established rather early when the cat is chased by Cujo and almost run over by Christine during the opening credits. This film is very light in tone ... too light. The two stories based on previous material have their highlights ... James Woods is good in the first one ... but they are far too comic in tone to generate any suspense. The original story with Drew Barrymore and the cat fighting off a troll is just awful. This really just isn't worth investing any time in.
