Ryan A (gb) wrote: What I got to say about "The Lifeguard" is it one the most boring and very dull. The performances in this were fine. The directing and screenplay by Liz W. Garcia is extremely weak. For my opinion, it really intricate. And the score in this is okay. "I'm raving that "The Lifeguard" is NOT a good movie."

Ryan C (de) wrote: A good holiday movie that touches your heart, and makes you realize how important family is.

Eli T (gb) wrote: Totally underrated movie. Marketing for this could have been WAY better. This is definitely a fav in my book.

Sue B (br) wrote: Okay, but Swingers is so much better.

Ben C (ca) wrote: A movie that doesn't know when to be serious, Arquette, Caan and Platt combine with WCW wrestlers and other personnel to bring us the dumbest and possibly the worst wrestling movie ever conceived in history. I don't blame Hulkamania and The Nature Boy refusing to take part in this film, because while these two have been on-screen rivals in wrestling in the past, they've made the right decision, hands down.

Alex P (es) wrote: This is supposed to be a family movie. By the end of the movie my family was gone and I was facebooking.

Kevin M W (nl) wrote: A small town in the California desert and a young all star cast (with an appropriate alt/indie soundtrack supporting them) consider metaphysical stuff. Meant to be cooler than it actually is cool, everyone does manage to look mah-velous. Like the town though nobody's going anywhere.

Patrick S (ca) wrote: a fun b-actioner movie that is not short on the cheese factor! what else would you expect from Lamas and Busey! note the 'chase' scene in the hospital for a good laugh

James T (kr) wrote: 2 actors that have always made me laugh and when they are in a movie together you always get twice the fun. This was the last movie they were in as a double act but it's a fine movie for them to finish such a great screen partnership. Richard Pryor was really showing sings of being ill here but he is still as funny as ever. The last few moments are really touching and a fine way to end the movie.

Ian M (kr) wrote: It looks dated and sensationalistic next to better disaffected-youth films like Out of the Blue or River's Edge (made by this one's co-writer Tim Hunter), and it's also less fun than two other 1979 gang films, The Warriors and The Wanderers. Still worth watching for Cheap Trick soundtrack and a 14-year-old Matt Dillon.

Alex S (ca) wrote: Cementing itself as a (relatively) modern Christmas standard, Elf features a memorable and always endearing performance from Will Ferrell as well as plenty of charm and humor to earn viewings from any season of the year.

Jahkoree B (es) wrote: this movie is awesome can I see it again for free

Matthew S (kr) wrote: An interesting cinematic mis-step, the movie is of note for getting these three great actors in one movie -- and for capturing images of a Paris at a transitionary time in its post war history.

Walnerd N (ag) wrote: A modern horror classic!!
