Ariel R (it) wrote: My 2nd fav movie. The writing in this is BRILLIANT!!

Paul P (nl) wrote: Just like in 'Keane' Lodge Kerrigan deals with schizophrenia in a way that is uncomfortably realistic and absolutely compelling. The sound editing and score are brilliant. Lets talk about Peter Greene though!! There isn't alot of dialogue, the movie mainly deals with a character struggling to battle his own mind. And Greene in silence is able to capture both the madness and fear of schizophrenia in a jaw dropping way.

Amy W (it) wrote: Saw this when I was a kid. But, I don't remember much of it.

Augustine H (br) wrote: Honestly I don't quite get the stress and sorrow. It's definitely artistic though.

Cedric L (de) wrote: Iconic with impressive Hitchcock directing.

Dann M (jp) wrote: A lackluster comedy, Are You Here delivers some laughs but doesn't have much of a plot. The story follows a weatherman who leaves the big city and goes to the countryside to help his best friend through the death of his father, but his friend's mental and emotional problems tests the limits of their friendship. Starring Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis, and Amy Poehler, the cast is pretty good; particularly with this type of comedy. The writing however, is rather weak and unfocused. Still, it tries to say some things about finding one's purpose, and appreciating what one has. Are You Here is entertaining at times, yet doesn't really work all that well.

Daniele C (nl) wrote: The romantic comedy that has come to define an entire genre of movies.

David P (ca) wrote: a striking, stirring account of a real-life romance cut short.
