No one wants to be his friend, and Doggy Poo becomes sad because he believes he is worthless and has no purpose. However, after a plant grows out of the ground and tells him that she needs him to grow into a flower, Doggy Poo realizes his purpose and he becomes absorbed by the flower. After being absorbed by the flower, Doggy Poo lives "a happy life".

Brian B (kr) wrote: Platoon is often cited as one of the most realistic war films ever made. It's about the true experiences Oliver Stone had in the Vietnam war. It shows war on different levels including men from the same side turning on each other. It has a lot of power because of this and it gives it an emotional aspect. This movie has a lot of heavy material and is sometimes hard to watch at times. The violent battles show the soldiers getting transformed into killing machines after many frightening experiences and close calls they have. The movie both looks and sounds amazing. I really like the film's score. When it's played, it really helps us get immersed in the scenes due to the notes and beats in it. Sure, some of their choices of actors are a bit questionable like putting Charlie Sheen in an emotional role but I didn't seem to mind it that much because they played the roles with such great emotion and power that it didn't seem to bother me. This is a great war film and it will be remembered throughout the ages. It's unforgettable, violent, sad, and moving.

I don't have much of a hate for worms (not like my girlfriend who I hear screaming while she's gardening) but these worms are fairly creepy w/ their screaming mouths. Ive never seen a worm w/ a mouth. A storm knocks down some electrical wires driving currents into the ground cause millions of worms to go on the rampage. These worms mean business as they bore right under your skin like that did to that poor retarded worm farmer Roger & make you a big WORM FACE.

Paul J (ag) wrote: This cult find was long unavailable on either VHS or laserdisc. It's the quintessential drive-in movie. It's competently made with classic cult moments that I'm sure midnight audiences will eat up. However, there's nothing terribly "nasty" about it. I suppose for '73 it was ahead of its time but the only really controversial part comes at the end. A eight-year-old kid killing adults is always a little unsettling. Also, I'm sure Tarantino must have been watching - a good portion deals with an ear being cut off.

Mark M (jp) wrote: Ted Post's Beneath the Planet of the Apes is best defined as a filler movie in the franchise, connecting Planet of the Apes (1968) with Escape from the Planet of the Apes (1971), as nothing in the movie stands out, nor does it introduce anything solid to the narrative, other than fulfill a certain 'prophecy' from the first movie.

Ileana A (nl) wrote: Different. It seems the story it has nothing to do with the real Paganini... but it is still a good movie.

Greg S (us) wrote: Seems quite empty and shallow like it's characters and feels like a weird patchwork of a Wes Anderson and a Woody Allen film without realizing the charm of either. An otherwise perfectly adequate and unremarkable film.
