Marco leads a double life. As Marco, he is a construction worker but rich ladies craving sexual excitation know him as Patrick. As Marco he is married to Fanny, an ambitious young woman who has opened her own hairdressing salon in partnership with her friend Rosalie. Marco/Patrick is not a male prostitute at heart: in fact he does the job in order to support his wife's business. Which doesn't prevent Judith, an elegant tele-shopping presenter who buys his services, from falling in love with him. But when Fanny learns what Marco does and with whom, she first gets mad but soon starts interfering in their affair.

Baylor T (ru) wrote: This movie was so bad. No character, pointless cameos, stupid songs and jokes, no story. And on top of it, IT MAKES NO SENSE!!! This movie makes Thomas and the Magic Railroad look like Frozen! Its that pitiful!

Scott R (au) wrote: This film showed me that suicide bombers can come from any background. It was thought provoking in showing us the Palestinian perspective, but it showed it in a way that did not seem to have an agenda to persuade me for or against either side. Although it had its moments explaining the rationale behind their actions, I did not feel that was there to persuade me and was only there as part of the story. I was frustrated with the leaders who persuaded these people to commit the acts they did, often their logic was indoctrination of the people and this irked me. Great acting, writing, a little simplistic in the direction, but this was also an effective aspect of the film.

Chris B (nl) wrote: The film feels entirely rushed, glosses over the fact that the protagonist is a minor with gratuitous sex scenes and gore, and the acting is sub-par to say the least. The entire plot-line is cliche, the character development is just not there, and the movie has a hard time sticking to its own script from start to finish. This film will not do well and I suspect a sub-60% certified fresh rating when that comes to light. To put it lightly... the film comes off like a bad Supernatural episode minus the Winchester brothers.

Chris S (kr) wrote: It was okay. I'm not a huge fan of Bill Murray's comedy, but this movie provided enough of a modern take on a classic story that it kept me decently interested.

Bronson C (kr) wrote: I'm seeing the word 'mediocre' when this film is described. Let's just say this, there is NOTHING mediocre when you bring together a cast like this; Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, Dean Jagger and Jack Elam...it's a classic western! Stewart shines here...BIG.
David W (fr) wrote: American Beauty is without a doubt, a product of it's time, but it still is a beautifully (Ha!) shot film with an unforgettable score by Thomas Newman. Kevin Spacey and Annette Benning are both superb in this 1990s film of American surburbia
