It also widens the lens and focuses on multi protagonists from different perspectives on a world trying to rebuild itself. Being a sequel it's more violent than its predecessor and punches you in the face with each character death. It had big shoes to fill and manages to do a remarkable job.

John N (fr) wrote: A decent ending to the saga. You can definitely tell that this is a nineties film because its look is generally brighter than the others. Also, there's a lot of unnecessary close-ups in this chapter which seems to be typical of early nineties action films. Michael Parks is awesome! He's the best thing about the film.

Robert P (ag) wrote: Oh my word is this movie bad. I imported it from Holland - best 17 pounds I ever spent. Notable for a brave performance by Brandon Lee (who never put a foot wrong on film), but more notable for it's nonsensical plot, TERRIBLE acting from peripheral characters, no sign of budget WHATSOEVER, and most importantly, shooting the same extras ten times or more each to bulk up the action scense (they keep coming back but they don't even bother to change their appearances!!!). A disaster of near Biblical proportions.

Roger D (nl) wrote: Well, there were good action movies being done during the 80's. Everybody still mentions Terminator or Beverly Hills Coo, but this one is one of the gems you don't necessarily think about right away. The story of two escaped convicts marooned on a train that runs driverless through snowy Alaska might not be the premise for a good movie, but the actors, especially Jon Voight, pull it off. Granted, the characters are a bit overdrawn, never mind Eric Roberts' accent or the exaggerated dumbness of his figure, but in the end it is an exciting movie. 81 %

John B (nl) wrote: True Romance, written by Quentin Tarantino, is the kind touching, action-packed drama thriller that has two 'Bonnie & Clyde' quasi protagonists doing everything they can to keep their relationship intact; even if it, by all means, taking extreme measures. Thumbs Up, delivers the goods ????
