Laura M (ag) wrote: Poor John Rhys-Davis, well known for the Dwarf Gimli in "The Lord of the Rings" from Peter Jackson, and many other Films, making this C-Movie would be not really a Challenge for him. Is his play here more than a guest part, to have him aboard?NOT seeing this Film, will be saving 1 1/2 hours of Lifetime and preventing of getting Eye-Cancer!Bad Effects, bad Storyboard, no Dramatic Art, no Fascination.

Brenda D (fr) wrote: A funny little flick, it offers the greatest idea: you should have kids only with your best friend.

oliver m (fr) wrote: this one is a challenge! in the best way!

Choc visuel. Une tres bonne surprise.

Pej D (kr) wrote: jess weixler guilty pleasure. a no budget film with mainly improvisation portraying mish mash intimacy leaving audience re-experience times of emptiness of past loves.

Rick F (ru) wrote: First of all, it's a very funny movie. Some scenes were absolutely hysterical. Second, it's a wonderful cultural insight into stereotypes the French themselves hold for various regions of their country, in this case Nord Pas de Calais, the "North". The English subtitles were excellent considering the difficulties in translating the nuances of a dialect. Best line in the film: "Strangers cry twice in the North. When they arrive, and when they leave."

Rajarshi C (jp) wrote: pretty good movie... they focussed a lot on the emotional aspect of the movie and i feel the contrast "before and after" has been overdone a bit, but then, it does touch your heart...a real masterstroke was not revealing how the protagonist got the virus... concentrates on the main issue... the treatment of +ve ppl by society...and yes, LOVELY soundtrack... love the song "Le Chale"... perfect...

Nicholas P (fr) wrote: Hmmmm....."The Real Story".....I think I'll see this now...I can't believe all of those other Jack and the Beanstalk stories were fake.

Eric (gb) wrote: this movie was all right i love the chicks in this one, and of course the lesbian scenes, kinda a spinoff of creul intentions

Christine R (ru) wrote: Hysterical screwball comedy that is a must see. Great cast. Spencer Tracy is very funny as Warren Haggerty the dedicated editor of a newpaper who postpones his wedding to Jean Harlow and even donates his bride to a crazy scheme to stop a $5 million dollar libel suit brought on by Myrna Loy. The fly fishing scens with William Powell are classic.

Simon T (nl) wrote: Funny and v well-acted biopic of the last years of Liberace, and in particular his relationship with Scott Thorson. The counter-intuitive casting of Michael Douglas and Matt Damon pays real dividends and Soderbergh really captures the sleazy mirror ball of seventies Las Vegas and the loneliness of extreme wealth.

Japhordan C (kr) wrote: I realized in Meet Dave that we were really meeting the now-retarded Eddie Murphy. Although, it's a fine kids movie with hardly any gags.

Thomas B (gb) wrote: Gritty and dangerous in a very raw design, Narc is elevated by Liotta's fantastic performance. Full review later.

Facebook U (fr) wrote: The story feels like it was meant for the TV series. More focus on special effects and spectacle, vs a strong and engaging story. Still an enjoyable spectacle with an amazing score.

Rich L (ca) wrote: I was hoping for more from this one. It has a neat little hook-- An atheist is forced to put faithless morality to the test in order to save the life of the woman he loves, but the film never really delivers on an real philosophical level.
