Bruce B (ru) wrote: A movie with the great Pierce Brosnan can't go wrong really, everything he does, he makes look effortlessly cool. The story about the diamond heist though, seems secondary to the beautiful locations, and Brett Ratner's obcession with filming Miss Hayek's chest from all conceivable angles (not necessarily a bad thing). Although Hayek is SO botoxed that she can barely move her facial muscles to express any kind of emotion.Woody Harrelson and Brosnan make a really funny team, and if they make a sequel, I hope it concentrates on their two characters, because they have a great screen chemistry. 5 Stars 5-2-14
David M (fr) wrote: This movie was a total suprise. I watched it on Demand because it had Spanish subtitles. It turned out to be very creative, a great pyhco thriller. Kelly Overton and James Haven, some no names did a very good job! Great movie!
Tommy M (gb) wrote: This movie reminds me a lot of A Walk To Remember but it's not as good, but it's pretty close. Okay so what this movie is pretty much about is two guys who are in love with the same girl Samantha(LeeLee Sobieski) but in a differnt way. Kelley (Chris Klein) is a rich kid and Jaspier(Josh Hartnett) is a farmer and both of them get in a dumb fight and it ends with them somehow burning down Samantha's family diner. So they get in trouble with the law and are sentenced to rebuild the diner with some help from the town and in doing so Kelley falls in love with Samantha and Jaspier is in love with her also and cares about her alot. But Samantha falls for Kelley and in doing so it tears Jaspier apart but sence he loves her he encourages it by the end. Everyone that knows Samantha is agaist her going out with Kelley. But still she continues to see him because it's true love. Near the end of the movie you find out that Samantha has cancer and it's spread through out her body so she's going to die. So this is when Jaspier becomes the bigger man I guess and encourages Kelley to go see Samantha and just wants to be a really good friend to he with the time she has left. Then the ending that I dont want to ruin for you even though I kind of already did but anyways another typical love story. LeeLee's preformence is really great and then Chris and Josh's are just okay. It really shows how love can change things and make life really wonderful and also how one person can effect so many.
Catherine L (mx) wrote: This so called "horror" movie couldn't even be considered horror in the slightest. The only think that would make it watchable is it's often less than amusing humor. At least it's better than it's sequel.
Mike N (nl) wrote: i liked some ideas about the movie and the ending was pretty good, but overall the story and the characters did not grab my emotions and only some things were interesting about the characters..

Martin T (nl) wrote: The photography is superb, the acting is excellent, and the script reveals much of Bergman's trademark style: bitter exchanges, frustrated outbursts, and contrite regrets. We also see a bit of the abortion issue that would come up again in Brink of Life, and frank handling of sexuality. The story itself is engaging, although it does take a while before it really gets cooking. Not an incredibly impressive film, but certainly a step up from Hollywood imitations like Crisis.
