Breanna M (au) wrote: I thought this doc presented an acurate depiction of how the earth may end up in the very near future. It would be very hard to argue with the info here as long as WE as a whole dont smarten up and change the way we treat this planet. I liked how they created Lucy to follow through out her life...it added an element that made this doc real and in-our-face.

Brandon W (us) wrote: Dumplings is a good horror film that should've been better. The acting is fine, and the effects are good. It's just that the plot is not that gripping to watch and it kind of feels like an excuse to show some messed up things. It still got me interested however, but it just felt standard to me. The only interesting part of the movie were the dumplings itself. I still had a bit of a good time with it. I don't know if the segment is better than the film itself, but it does make me want to see the segment.

Gordon R (gb) wrote: Predictable comedy with a stupid subplot about a stolen atm. Barbershop entertains most of the times but those times come from the shop scenes. When the movie turns to its silly subplot, it falls short.

Chris H (es) wrote: As far as low budget horror films go this is pretty good. That being said the the writing leaves a lot to be desired and thus drags what could have been a good film to a simply mediocre one.

Jim F (nl) wrote: Love the masks, the different heist scenarios, and Renner's trigger happy character. Would fit as a nice 3rd concluding part of a heist triology after Dog day afternoon and Killing zoe

Christopher B (ag) wrote: Enjoyable crime film, though not that memorable (hence the short review).

Jessica H (kr) wrote: Very good. The only I would change is the lady's deal with her family. It had nothing to do with anything, except that she could relate. I guess. It wasn't believable. But the story was great.

Rachel T (nl) wrote: I absolutely loved Sid and Nancy. It was such a tragic story. Gary Oldman was incredible.

Emre T (mx) wrote: By showing peasant exploitation as neither triumphant Calvary nor action-packed drama, Olmi refutes both 1900 and Padre Padrone, and creates a near-perfect hermetic universe, punctured only in those rare moments when, as tautologous as the film's English title, he dots the 'i's on the amply demonstrated Marxist message. Still, a near faultless and major film

Adrian Z (ru) wrote: 3.5 / 5 - Saludos Amigos is good edutainment from Disney, with four segments set in different regions of Latin America that get increasingly better. The film starts off shakily with a segment that intermixes documentary footage of Peru with a so-so short featuring Donald Duck. Then, it's off to Chile, where the charming story of a little anthropmorphic plane doing it's first mail run across the Andes is told. The next segment is rather amusing, with Goofy stepping into the shoes of a asado-eating mate-drinking gaucho with a knack for getting caught in his own boleadoras. The film closes with the best segments, set in Rio, that introduces the delightful Jose Carioca, and features stirring samba music, such as Aquarela do Brasil, Saludos Amigos is short, harmless, and actually quiet evocative.

Matt H (nl) wrote: Very thin story, and unfortunately the star power of Dietrich and Cooper didn't do much for me in this film.

Mike C (gb) wrote: Most notable for seeing Adrien Brody in character as a desperate ex convict. But for all the angst and violence it failed to hold my interest.

Derek M (es) wrote: A heartbreaking and unforgettable experience that stays with you long after it's over. Gosling and Williams are incredible in their roles. One of the best romance films I've ever seen.

Patrick T (br) wrote: Numbingly dull...tries to capture the magic of Easy Rider, but it is a one note tune and never progresses..wins score for hair flying behind motorcyle.

Marah R (jp) wrote: Couldn't even finish it.

Arseniy V (au) wrote: A story of a war-torn alpha male, his musk fading - trying to do a little house work (in the vein of "The Wrestler"). Somewhat safe, somewhat mute, but also well-acted and pretty well scored. The minuses may win out here, but the pluses give them a decent run for their money.
