A Troll in Central Park

A friendly troll with a magic green thumb grows one flower too many for the queen, whose laws require all trolls to be mean ugly and scare humans whenever possible. As a punishment, he is exiled to a world of concrete, where he should live a life of proper trolldom: Manhattan.

After being banished from his grim kingdom, Stanley (Dom DeLuise), an amiable troll with a magical talent for growing greenery, ends up in Central Park. There, Stanley befriends two young children, Gus and his baby sister Rosie and together they share wonderful adventures until Gnorga decides to let her mischief-making magic loose in the Big Apple. . Carlos M (gb) wrote: What a truly remarkable accomplishment in terms of jaw-dropping visuals, but the problem is that Cinema is not Painting, and so Majewski is unable to transpose the symbolism of Bruegel's work to the screen without relying on an expository explanation of his intentions.

Jacob S (us) wrote: This movie is a holocaust of unfunny made by a director in an attempt to make people feel sorry for her husband leaving her. This abomination is such a betrayal to the source material that the INDIAN NARRATORS screw up the story. Instead choosing to be a personal vendetta against all men, while being offensive to anyone who likes the story of the Ramayana or any hindu (which I'm not) All in all this movie SUCKS!!!!!

Sherief N (ru) wrote: It is a nice light movie from an enjoyable group of actors that you are bound to find someone you like from within.

Tamiya B (ru) wrote: very good movie i thought it was great. it kept u guessing the whole way through.

Marena K (ca) wrote: Entertaining movie and you watch it with pleasure disturbed only by poor special effects.

NaWie M (ag) wrote: R.I.P Raaj Kumar!Police Public was a pure waste of Talent of all the great actors. Naseeruddin Shah, Kabir Bedi and late Raaj Kumar. I thought Prem Chopra with his Experience of many years in Bollywood would make a great Director but I was wrong. He should have stayed with the great Talent him to play Villain in the movies and leave the Directing.

Jaime L (gb) wrote: The Bond villain was one of the dumbest I've ever seen but the action scenes help bring this from the trash heap. That scene with Michelle Yeoh and the Chinese equivalent of Q gadgets was quite amusing as well.

Anthony B (br) wrote: Favourite Baseball movie.. love the JB character as he takes his opportunity to the next level.. hits a home run with me.

Paul C (us) wrote: Tough to watch, but like Schindler's List, it needs to be watched once.

Jonathan S (ca) wrote: Worth watching just for the cricket - oh and the steam train

Peter P (ru) wrote: Classic Disney fun that I loved as a kid, this time travel/alien/family comedy/drama does some really great things. It still looks good for the most part, although my daughter was only all to happy to point out that she could see the strings making the little alien puppet dance. The acting is solid with Howard Hesseman giving a good performance as the NASA chief and Joey Cramer gives a very adequate performance for the lead. The story is fairly silly, but heart warming at the same time, and with it hasn't held up all that well, but the fond memories make up for it. Although I don't think NASA has nearly as much power as they make them out to, 3 Beards Out Of 5
