Matt R (ca) wrote: er.... its not bad. But a little 'messy' for want of a better word. It also gave me a headache watching it... way too many dark scenes and hard to make out dialogue, also too many flashing lights, one or two scenes ok but the repetition just got dull and annoying...

Brian C (ag) wrote: This is your typical base-under-seige type of movie. An eclectic bar in the middle of nowhere, with a plethora of strange patrons, are being attacked by a clan of monsters. Some great blood...some great action...some way-out campy dialog. Makes for an hour and a half of great fun! Not exactly an oscar winner, but a great ride. The best touch of the movie was as each character is introduced, there was a caption on on the screen giving the character name, their function and their chance of survival. Hilarious stuff. So there you have it.

Jonathan B (kr) wrote: Pretentious and dull. On Koyaanisqatsi it was all done on film using on camera techniques which really gave you a strange and odd experience of the world that you'd never seen. With Noqoyqatsi, you may as well just watch the Windows Media Player visuals. They're a lot less pretentious and pointless.

Scott A (us) wrote: An interesting idea for sure, where the four main characters are never named personally, but look and act a lot like Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio and Senator Joseph MacCarthy.I thought the idea worked for awhile, but since it is based on a play it boils down to a lot of talking and it just got old for me after awhile. The acting is all great and everyone seems to look the part. I really liked Russell as Monroe, as she was sexy and hard to keep your eyes off of, just like Monroe was. They also put in all these little things to remind you this is an ART movie, which do more to annoy than anything.
