Happily married with a daughter, Marc is a successful real estate agent in Aix-en-Provence. One day, he has an appointment with a woman to view a traditional country house. A few hours later, Marc finally puts a name to her face. It's Cathy, the girl he was in love with growing up in Oran, Algeria, in the last days of the French colonial regime. Marc hurries to her hotel. They spend the night together. Then she's gone again. And Marc's mother tells him Cathy never left Algeria. She was killed with her father in a bombing just before independence...

A matured observation in the field of cinemas. The movie delicately presented a truly genuine documentary of behind the scenes of Bollywood in a fictionalized way

Sonoma H (gb) wrote: This movie was fantastic. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was brilliant and deserved more acclaim and Robert De Niro was the perfect foil Where else can you get two great actors in almost every scene and doing the brilliant work we know they can. I cannot imagine why Rotten Tomatoes voters gave it such a low rating. I watch films constantly and this one was riveting and brilliant from the first scene...
STCENTERPRISE (es) wrote: It had some funny parts but I was also hoping that the film would be funnier. I liked how King Ralph was able to connect with those in Africa. I also enjoyed seeing how he decorated his room.
Dave S (us) wrote: The training portion of the movie in the first half is some of the finest military material I have ever seen on the big screen. R. Lee Ermey is sensational while D'Onofrio's final few scenes are truly haunting. Once the movie moves to Vietnam I thought it lost a lot of momentum. But that first half, wow!

Tara V (ru) wrote: Danny Peary's review of this in his book, Cult Movies, bops around from point to point a bit like the Marx Bros. humour. A bit about why this movie flopped with 1930s audiences who couldn't swallow the idea that the government, which they were counting on to pull them up, was absurd vs. 1960s audiences who had a taste for that; a bit about how this director used them best, partly by cutting out their trademark musical interludes (boo!); a good run-down of (3 of) the Bros. dynamics - Groucho is amazed by but only tolerates Harpo to keep Chico around, because they both are out to have fun at the expense of all the stuffed shirts, and Chico takes care of Harpo because he's the only one who believes Chico's Italian. Then he wraps up by acknowledging that Zeppo, um, was there.
Craig H (br) wrote: Words can??t fully articulate how much I hated this movie. Easily one of the worst "films" I have ever seen and I use the term 'film' loosely. This "thriller" (another term I??m using loosely) is set in Pittsburgh and stars TNA wrestling star Kurt Angle as a psychopath who strangles women during sex and then kills others to cover his poorly-hidden tracks, with a slew of cheap disguises (and some fake, fake hairpieces). There isn??t a single redeeming thing about this film. The acting is poor community theater, the plot is hackneyed and trite, dialogue just BAD, and it's shot on cheap digital video. If I hadn't rented this movie for free, I would have asked for my money back. I still may. This supplants "The Marine" as the worst movie ever made starring a wrestler. Makes "Ecks vs. Sever" look grand. I??ve watched a lot of Seagal, a lot of Van Damme, and ALL of it was better than "End Game". Woodchuck sez, "Makes me long for a WWE film."
