Chris F (au) wrote: Although this film highlights the milestones of Roberto Duran's career there seems to be a lack in narrative. Even when important elements are introduced things feel lost in translation, or aren't even mentioned again. The acting is fairly well done with Robert De Niro, Ruben Blades and even Edgar Ramirez as Roberto Duran. With some fine tuning this film could have been an epic biography.

Brian T (fr) wrote: Pretty crazy story and parts are kind of hard to believe. Worth a watch

Alberto M (br) wrote: An outstanding and somewhat dark study of anger, grief and settlement.

Ahmad J (fr) wrote: Cure movie. Liked it a lot when I saw it back when I was a young teen!

Rebecca M (au) wrote: An amazing book and very well adapted into a film. First saw this when I was about fourteen/fifteen and the actors really helped make it haunting and fantastically difficult to watch. Incest is never going to be easy viewing!

Rich B (mx) wrote: Its different, weird, and hilariously snarky. This isn't critically acclaimed just 80's style fun.

Dave J (mx) wrote: The brother as the movie is called is in reference to the character played by Joe Morton since it is what many of the people call him as a result of crashing into earth and roaming around NYC Harlem. He is in fact an alien from outer space with zero explanation why he landed there in the first place, or why he happened to look like an African American.

Tim M (us) wrote: From 1899 and issuing in the new year/millennium to 1932 and issuing in the new year this film covers a historical time period through the eyes of one family. It couples the past with the future and shows how England progressed through those three decades from the war with the Boers to the Titanic to World War I. A remarkable look on how England changed from the top of the world filled with grace, dignity, and peace to the country it is more like today. Excellent photography, editing, and direction make this an enjoyable and well done best picture. The scene especially where England is going off to war in WWI is amazing as each year that passes the same filming location gets more and more destroyed and the screen gets darker and darker and darker. Heartache, sorrow, and pain are shown as is happiness, joy, and love and the film captures all the aspects of normal life through the course of three decades. An amazing film which captures the essence of humanity in a very well done manner.

Beverly N (es) wrote: OMG - as a lifelong Christopher Walken fan, if he wasn't in this movie I wouldn't have had any interest at all and after a few short minutes, I couldn't watch regardless of who the actors were. Ick, yuck - no thanks.

Alexander E (br) wrote: Very interesting. Also weird, and hard to follow. So watch it twice. I enjoyed it.

Mark S (br) wrote: i think this film is great.i think sean bean who plays jimmy muir is a great actor.but the main thing is it is a football film.

Al S (jp) wrote: An outrageously entertaining and incredibly silly adventure filled with big laughs, action and charm. A wonderfully enjoyable and inventive comedy that you cant resist. Bruce Willis is fantastic, he is a real blast of humor, style, charm and great talent that he just had to show off in this film, especially in his scenes with Andi MacDowell and Danny Aiello. This movie is sheer comic gold that I don't think has been seen since the days of Pete Selllars.
