Philip N (fr) wrote: It's a strange one rebooting something that's still warm. I think the best thing to do would've been just a recast and continue with the toby mcguire story. Dr Connors isn't really a villain he is more of an obstacle and proves his human side by end of film, which makes the film pointless. Anyhu the movie aims high but delivers very low. I don't know if it is the cast or just the story. If its someone's first film then they did well.

Susan is having bad nightmares, possibly the anxiety of trying to conceive. Dreaming of a dark version of herself. Karen (the dark one) has ?creatures? after her. Come see what the Dark Corners of one?s mind holds. This was actually kinda cool. THo on the disk sleeve said something about a twist.. I didn?t notice one. But that?s ok. Its creepy. There were noises going in my house that were kinda freaking me out! So I?ll go with a C+ for this one
David B (fr) wrote: Boring creature flick that doesn't really go anywhere. It starts off more like a made for tv drama that slowly turns into a creature horror flick. Well if it wasn't for the decapitated bodies and the little bit of gore It Waits could have passed as an episode of Home & Away if they ever decided to script a thousand year old indian demon in Summer Bay. The entire film consists of developing and forcing us to understand Cerina Vincent's(she was amazing in Cabin Fever and have her tits gotten bigger??) character who I did feel for at times, but then I became really uninterested since this is suppose to be a horror film. I mean, I was just eager for some suspense. Unfortunately this flick never took off and if you are looking for a horrific creature flick this is not one. The creature does look decent and could have been scary, but only if it was created for another script...
