Vincent B (fr) wrote: Kind of boring in a few places, and the jumps in time made a lot of the story confusing, but the acting was pretty good for the most part, the story was interesting, and there were a few good plot twists. The ending left a minor plot hole, but whatever. It wasnt overly violent, as the title would suggest. But, the film apparently tries to ride on the main character's moral dilemma. This was realy weak in the film. But it was ok I guess, see it only if you have nothing better to do.

Nik M (jp) wrote: There is something undesirable in Herzog's depiction of an anarchy-driven community of little people. While seemingly plotless, Herzog cleverly makes several statements along the way such as the dominance of the little people over certain things such as nature, man-made things, authority, and others, not to mention that hefty relationship he draws between the little people and the animals around them. Truly unique.
