Carlos R (es) wrote: With a very similar style to Ocean's Eleven and Pulp Fiction, this movie is really a good "hybrid", very entertaining with some funny scenes and very intriguing. Edward Burns, Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman are good, but Rachel Weisz here sexier than ever steals the show in this movie.
Robert T (jp) wrote: This film, while in no way "good" in the rational, logical sense of the word, is a wild ride for those who enjoy martial arts films, video games, zombies, and anime. And have a sense of humor. I don't know what else I can say! If those phrases fit your description, even a bit, watch this movie! Well, the ultimate cut, it has even more violence! There are zombies with guns! A man who gets his face punched through only to show up to another fight later! Characters don't even have names! It's simply superb!
Jason R (au) wrote: Made for TV sequel to the original movie (must have been cable because there is some nudity). The movie doesn't have as good of set up as the original, but it does have some parts that are rather interesting (if not completely unrealistic). The weirdest thing is that it sort of a sequel but not really. It is as if the first part of When a Stranger Calls happened, but not the ending. It also leaves a ton of unanswered plot questions by the end.
Michael S (mx) wrote: A very good drama but with actors like Dustin Hoffman, Sean Connery and Matthew Broderick heading lining the cast and Sidney Lumet (who never disappoints me) directing, that's not surprising at all.

Will M (fr) wrote: Serious, cynical domestic melodrama. Odets' script -- and the film in general -- exemplifies the tenor of the era, mixing artifice and realism. Stanwyck is beautiful and hardnosed.
Ca H (nl) wrote: Incredibly interesting psychological drama that builds the creepy tension up slowly to breaking point. The three central performances were all incredible, the writing was great and the visuals beautiful. I found it an engaging watch that completely drew me in, whilst it was also intelligent and thought provoking. Completely loved it.
