"Evilenko" traz Malcolm McDowell em uma boa interpretao sobre um macabro e pedfilo serial-killer chamado Evilenko, famoso por "jantar" crianas. Infelizmente, o filme sofre com um roteiro da pior qualidade, trazendo falas ridculas - "No chore. Vadias no choram."- e cenas grotescas e absurdas - impressionante como conseguem botar uma garota de uns dez anos de idade abrindo as pernas para um menino - que deixam o filme mais terrvel ainda do que ele j era. Quase todas as atuaes (Malcolm se salva) so extremamente foradas e estpidas. A direo terrvel e a edio no se salva tambm.

Mimi S (fr) wrote: I love anything with Ben Stiller so I'm a bit biased. Despite it's flaws, Along Came Polly is a hilarious film that is hard to dislike. Along Came Polly (ACP) is about newly married Reuben (Ben Stiller) whose wife Lisa (Debra Messing) cheats on him on their honeymoon in St Barts with a French nudist and scuba diving instructor, Claude (Hank Azaria). A heartbroken Reuben returns back home from his honeymoon alone whilst Lisa decides to stay with Claude in St Barts. Reuben feels pretty hopeless until he meets an old school friend Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston) at an art gallery opening. He begins to fall for Polly, but things aren't that simple especially when Lisa decides that she wants Reuben back. I have to say that ACP is a genuinely hilarious comedy. Hank Azaria, despite his brief role in the film, was probably the funniest character. Azaria is a really talented actor and really good with voices; his French accent was spot on. The late Philip Seymour Hoffman is also a hoot as Reuben's fame hungry, big-headed and self-centred best friend, Sandy Lyle, a failed actor still basking in the glory of the success of his only film. Such a shame about Hoffman's death as he was really a genuinely talented actor, a rarity in Hollywood. Ben Stiller, though not the most versatile still amuses as neurotic Reuben. Luckily for Ben Still he doesn't have to try too hard to be funny, he just is. Jennifer Aniston just annoys the hell out of me. She's likeable enough but a seriously bad actress. Polly and Reuben didn't really make a believable couple and if they were real I couldn't really image them lasting. Polly is free-spirited and a commitment phobe whilst Reuben is the settling down type of guy who is desperate to find his Mrs Right and get married. It's nice to see that it's not always the women who are portrayed as wanting to settle down and get married and that women can be commitment phobes too (like me). So yeah the chemistry between Aniston and Stiller wasn't really very strong to say the least. All in all ACP is an enjoyable and pleasant comedy with lots of funny moments. It's also good for a date night as it's not something that guys will cringe through. I watched this with my two male cousins and they really enjoyed it. Definitely worth watching, maybe not for the romance, but for it's humour and good cast also including Alec Baldwin. Grade: B

Matt G (gb) wrote: The dialogue goes between generic, expositional and just plain bad. Otherwise, this is one of Spielberg's more inventive and thrilling films, presenting a super cool sci-fi vision (personalized ads, self-driving cars, flexible video screens) and a twisting mystery that is always one step ahead of the audience. A futuristic Mission: fact, let's give Spielberg a shot at that series!

Kylie B (es) wrote: Beautiful, lush, sumptuous...all words that can be used to describe various aspects of this film. My only issue would be that the love between Farinelli and the woman who would later be his wife was barely explored at all - they go from arguing and ignoring each other to later living with each other in Spain, she being ready to have 'his' child. I could've done with a bit more of his childhood as well.

Barney o (fr) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: This amazing film takes the fight on a timely issue, and it wins because of it's developed characterisation and it's poetic and tragic story. It made me cry so much, and engaged me incredibly with it's touching moments and passing humour. This is emphasised ten-fold by the dazzlingly good cast, and the final result is one of the best movies of the early 90s.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: It does manage to tick a few cliche boxes along the way, and the overall 'plot' is arguably a bit thin for a full 2 hour movie. Three more words? Excessive. Camera. Angles. Oh yep...VERDICT: A brilliantly touching story that was very pertinent at the time; 'Philadelphia' still packs a huge emotional punch today. What a great film.
