Bill R (es) wrote: I really enjoyed this. The battles were done really well, the fights were choreographed nicely (grass field archery my fave) and the story was good. Would of made even better had it been a 3 hour epic with more time between the brothers and given everyone more feel to them but for the hour and forty minutes that this was, still a good watch.

Cesar F (mx) wrote: Another Stallone action we to pretend like he's not an old fart. Not a bad flick though...

Brandon S (au) wrote: A surprisingly interesting and affective biography. The writing was poor at times but the acting by Robert Carlyle and Liev Schreiber wholly made up for it. An intriguing film that turns out to be fairly entertaining.

Jonathan P (mx) wrote: I never understood how people didn't like Nicolas Cage but after watching Honeymoon in Vegas I can see it. I still love the man but Honeymoon in Vegas opened my eyes a bit. Cage screams his way through this extremely dry comedy featuring Sarah Jessica Parker, James Caan and Cage. When not screaming or being one of the biggest jerks filmed in a comedy Cage and Parker show some of the worst chemistry seen (though Caan and Parker were almost as bad). Honeymoon in Vegas falls flatter than a skydiving Elvis whose parachute doesn't open.

Colin A (jp) wrote: It was good. Not as good as "Patton", but good. Because he was played by Gregory Peck, they made him a much more sympathetic and humane figure than George C. Scott's take on Patton, which I suppose is a good thing, although I always thought that the two generals were equally outragous in real life. I will need to refresh my history. Some parts are a little slow but if they were done for the sake of historical accracey, I will let it slide, because you never have enough of that in films. Ed Flander's did a good job playing Truman. I'm not so sure about Dan O'Herlihy as Roosevelt; his Irish accent (I thought it was British until I learned his name) was a bit distrating and he kept doing that weird motion with his head. I don't know if Roosevelt ever did that; I kind of hope he didn't. The best parts of the movie are MacArthur's speeches, which remain powerful to this day. I recommend the movie and for people to learn more about this real life military hero.
