Mark D (ca) wrote: I've only seen a handful of Italian films of this genre, and, so far, haven't been impressed. This movie dates earlier than other Italian movies I've seen, however, I was surprised at how I was drawn in to the characters, and, especially, no bomb dropping tragedy or drama at the end. This was no epic, nor an epic wannabe, hollywood could not have produced this. As soon as you think it's going to get stereotypical, instead the movie becomes captivating. I recommend as a must see, as, and this may be the first (and only) time I say this, this movie could have been longer.
Nicholas L (nl) wrote: The movie is very intense and extremely suspenseful even if it's premise is ridiculous and the military protocols lack authenticity, especially the part about a dog being allowed on a submarine.

Scott G (kr) wrote: Cheesy and corny, but entertaining. Its a fun film from 1989 and probably could have made more money if would've been released during the Spring not Summer. Maybe somewhere between 20 to 25 million but I'm only guessing. The film needs a remake and hopefully Hulk Hogan can reprise his role and make sure he doesn't make the same mistakes. But this is a great guilty pleasure film even if it is silly.
Matthew H (mx) wrote: Down and Out in Beverly Hills is that typical mid-80's movie that hasn't really held up over the years. In its roots, it's a sharp satire on wealth, but it is overrun by clichs and "Hollywood" moments. What I will admit is that it's pretty damn funny.
RayNormanBateman (gb) wrote: Without a doubt, the weakest in the series. Beneath the planet of the apes at least took the story and added to it, also showing us some of the characters we loved in the original. This one felt really cheaply made and rushed. The concept is good but it could have been done so much better. Out of all the films, this one felt most like a tv movie due to it's cheap production. It is a shame to end such an amazing franchise this way but as a whole, this is one of the most underrated franchise ever. People talk about Terminator and time travel in sci:fi but this franchise brought it out way before James Cameron did.
Arun K (au) wrote: It is wonderful to see the Bond series re-booted with a brilliant movie. Explores the start a young 007 learning from his mistakes during a mission. Daniel Craig performs the epic 007 role brilliantly and gives a grounded performance.

Zac H (de) wrote: I wasn't around when this was made, but from watching the re-make to watching this I can say the re-make at least had a story for the weird creatures in the film (explaining what they were) This movie left out a huge chunk of things. Though the ending was pretty much the same as in the re-make (they both sucked). Being a horror buff that I am I can say the creatures were the only coo thing in this movie, but this film wouldn't have scared me if I was 5 years old watching it.
