Robert B (it) wrote: Over the top ridiculous crap. Seagall is a master at his craft. The plot made no sense and it was really a reach. Seagall looks so funny now that he is fat. He did have his stupid one liners and terrible trademark dialogue. For some reason there was a ridiculous Seagall over dubb at times and I don't know why. Only reason I gave it a 10% was because Seagall hits some women.

David D (au) wrote: Horror with a film noir feel to it. Bizarre and surprisingly intelligent horror.

Jerry S (gb) wrote: Usually I like family pictures but this one is booooring.

Luke M (gb) wrote: I am sucker for a period piece film and I am always happy when I see movies with female empowerment. I adore this movie. The ending does kind of piss me off but at least she is moving on to bigger an better things! Great film!!!

Alexander P (mx) wrote: Is it just me or is this movies poster an exact copy of "Beyond Borders"?

Anna B (it) wrote: I mean, I don't think it's shocking just to shock, I think there's an intended message here. But the message does seem to be just "the world is shit, everything's falling apart, and cops are worse than the criminals they're chasing". Which, sure, was more true in the '80s than now, but it's such easy satire it always makes me roll my eyes. On the other hand, it's a really beautiful movie. So, there's that.

Anna C (ag) wrote: This movie is awesome. I couldn't nearly believe it was from the '70s. The flashbacks and the plot twists... it's like a modern film.

Wayne C (fr) wrote: Nice movie, though its main characters feel off from their well-known selves (from other movies) in places. Fans of the Zatoichi and Yojimbo/etc movies will mostly enjoy it.

Rob F (ru) wrote: Yet another fantastic Altman film lost to the sands of time, but this one is pre-M*A*S*H. It's a shame that I'm only the ninth person to review this film on Flixster. Shit needs to be re-released on DVD, asap.

Keith E (jp) wrote: I watched it twice and still was left a bit chilly. Too similar to the original to be an enticing remake. Nothing terrible here, just not captivating for me. All do yeoman's work.

Randy T (es) wrote: Never trust an octopus with less than eight tentacles.

Carlos R (au) wrote: One of the greatest superhero movies of all time. This movie really shows just how important it is to make the first film of an entire franchise phenomenal.

Joey Q (ca) wrote: this movie has a huge following. I do not know why. fair at best
