Chris C (br) wrote: Regardless of a person's world view, facts are still the facts. Serious scientists have been black balled from universities because they have discovered things that undermine political correctness. Academia should be a free thought zone, not subject to the political biases of intolerant bigots. Einstein would have been fired from some of our universities that now reject any argument for the existence of God. Einstein did not believe in the God of the Bible, but he did not believe the universe could exist without a pre-existent eternal being behind it. Nothingness is incapable of creating something. Everything that exists had to start from an eternal source, or nothing would be possible.

Matthew C (ru) wrote: Excellent biopic about Albert Pierrepoint, Britain's foremost executioner from the 1930s through the 1950s. I always liked Spall - hugely underrated actor - and he's outstanding here, as a man trying and failing to "compartmentalize," as we would say these days. Highly recommended.

Matt P (br) wrote: a very joyful movie that can make anyone smile and cry in under an hour, though it gets a little too crazy when the dogs and the villain come in.

Paul D (de) wrote: This movie means well, but it is a decade too late and the story is just bland. There are a couple laughs here and there, but I certainly would not call this a comedy. I would not watch this again if given the chance.
