Amy H (de) wrote: Already didn't expect too much on this movie and yes don't bother expect anything! Lack story, lack laughs, but at least it wasn't as bad as the other Wong Jin's production.

Heather M (ca) wrote: I am going to pass on this one.

Stanley C (ag) wrote: A great written and acted out action film that combines martial arts and gunfire combat well all based on the screenplay for 2 "weaklings" who get caught up between such stronger and more vicious drug dealers who enforce murder. The character Red also highly makes the film endure well through his dynamic characterization. The main weakness of the film however was the fact the film almost never ran out of new characters to make new fights.

Masi A (nl) wrote: It is not what you would expect. It is a movie, not a video game. It is not slow and steady like the video games, it is more loud and at times, too stupid.

Daniel K (jp) wrote: A reasonably good kids flick that touches upon some more serious themes while still being good fun for kids to watch. Evan Rachel Wood is perfect as young Emily and Michael Angarano also plays her friend Philip very well. The storyline is simply yet effective and muso fans, especially anyone that likes the violin, will surely enjoy it. The more serious side of the film is probably where it gets better too. Overall its nothing special but still a good film worth checking out.

Chani (ag) wrote: it's not bad. it's partically one of her first major roles.

Jonathan M (gb) wrote: Debut from 2-time Oscar winner Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu. Don't watch if you're a dog lover.

Adam L (br) wrote: Faring far better than most films allegedly inspired by actual events concerning man-devouring beasts "Brotherhood of the Wolf" is at the very least triumphant in accomplishing the decidedly implausible task of making Marc Dacascos appear entertaining (albeit vicariously through action choreographer Phillip Kwok). It's not until the third act wanders so far from those aforementioned events that saw a beast of debatable origin rampaging through the French countryside, circa 1794, that "Brotherhood of the Wolf" does not elicit the need for a repeat viewing.

Dave R (fr) wrote: the fact that this set in boston - with some of the locations being very close to my home - made this a fun movie to watch. it's one of those miramax independent films that is so quintessentially 90s. the story revolves around 2 boston area singles and their search for love. if you've been around the block a few times in the world of relationships you'll find something in here you'll probably enjoy.

Kyle D (mx) wrote: Way back in the 80's when I was a wee lad, I thought American "let's go back and win the war in vietnam" flicks like RAMBO, and MISSING IN ACTION were pretty cool. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Sammo Hung made his own take on the genre EASTERN CONDORS, where messr. Hung kills a dude by turning a palm leaf into a blowgun and Yuen Biao, strangles, skins and decapitates a live snake with his bare-hands in about 2 seconds without even looking at it. Also, no faceless commie rat form RAMBO was ever as cool asThe giggling General from this movie. In retrospect, the 10 year old boy in me feels pretty gypped that I was denied access to a film like this. Thanks for nothing Chuck Norris.

Isaac S (it) wrote: These handmade, low-tech music clips contradictorily look new now. Heroin's change of mind at the end is fine to me -- youth.
