Tiffany D (nl) wrote: Despite the strong acting (NBC trumps Lohan in every way imaginable), the show itself drags and is so slooow - the flaw is in such intimate examination of such a short period of time. The end result is repetitive and lacks a crescendo. I actually had to watch in shifts, finding myself easily distracted. The theater lover in me enjoyed seeing the couple bring a show to life, though. Overall, I'm glad I saw it, but doubt I'd want to sit through it again. 2.5 - 3-ish stars

But when Sadie's death jeopardizes a major deal, Bobby and Frank set out to find a replacement - a lookalike - to fool Spinks. The shady plan propels an ex-basketball champion, a deaf beauty, an addict, and an aspiring actress into an unlikely romance and a desperate quest to start over. - Justin Long, Jerry O'Connell, John Corbett, Scottie Thompson

Randy H (jp) wrote: The story was extremely confusing, but I felt like that was what kept me going, and at the end of Part 2 most of it makes sense. You must see it more than once to appreciate the complexity of the this simple story. At the heart of this amazing film lies a message that we can all relate to, no one wants to be forgotten.

Tara A (nl) wrote: Never revealing the protagonist's specific cause puts all the focus on the process of suicide bombing, but it turns her whole story into an abstraction. That said, Williams's performance makes the film work as much as it does.

Jackie B (au) wrote: I don't know what everyone's complaining about. this was a fantastic movie! Spacey outdid himself, and made me love Bobby Darin even more. the script, the cast, the performances, the musical numbers -- loved everything about it. =)

Zack B (ag) wrote: Bresson's most well known film is one of the truly essential films in the history of cinema because it stripes down all cliches, typicality and formula of film and allows itself to be a film. Margeurite Duras said it perfectly that every film before Bresson was like a parasite feeding off of other art forms. Bresson makes pure cinema. This film is also one of the most beautiful ever made not only because of its quiet minimalism or it's powerful shots (such as the hands laying prostrate on a bench in wait for a tender touch) but also because, as Godard said, it is a film that shows the world in an hour and 30 minutes. We see just how incredible the magnitude of humanity's ignorance really is when compared with a docile, loyal, and completely humble donkey. It's so powerful and even today it feels new.

Dena S (jp) wrote: it brings me back to the good old days :) the movie was disent, although the acting wasnt good, some stories were funny. Sean Astin is adorable :P
