Pito R (au) wrote: Very interesting premise, good build up. the ending was very satisfying. It's worth a watch for sure.

Mark B (br) wrote: Disappointing. I expected more of this given the comedy potential of the story idea and the decent cast. Visually stunning but poorly scripted. Just not funny or interesting enough.

Lee (ca) wrote: Gungo-ho Exorcism flick made on the cheap. One of the worst Exorcism films I've seen actually, though having said that the sight of a young woman with a demonic face and voice is always going to creep me out no matter how bad the film turns out. The majority of the film is so bad you'll wonder if it's actually a comedy spoof! The plot is too ridiculous and implausible to be taken as fact as it claims to be, even if you believe in demonic possession! This one's strictly for fans of this sub- genre.

Shane J (fr) wrote: Bronson wants to take out a pimp and doesn't really care how plus a weird sexual Japanese side plot just happens and doesn't really add anything of interest to the story. It's like they added it just to make the film show some boobs and have the film not seem like every other bronson police flick....nah couldn't be that??

Bill M (it) wrote: A truly strange horror film that is really dull for almost it's whole runtime, but yet you still keep watching, because maybe something will happen...it dose, the last ten minutes are absolutely batshit insane and almost make-up for the preceding hour and twenty odd minutes, fire, satanic pigs and decapitation all feature and it leaves you thankful for your patience in a big satisfying way. Worth watching, even if you want to just skip to the end.

Jaime R (mx) wrote: "What Price Glory" is a disappointing entry, especially for an actor like James Cagney.

Ricardo H (jp) wrote: This is the kind of movie that made me wish there was a way to give negative-star ratings. Ugh!

Maksim B (de) wrote: An overly pretentious attempt to copy the typical Wes Anderson's production, The Longest Week is a blunt, uninteresting and heartless romantic comedy. Its artificial narrative and lack of characters development make it a sort of unfinished late-coming-of-age story that fails to reward the patient viewers even if the presence of Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde brings a bit of sweet freshness.Conrad Vamont (Jason Bateman) is the 40-year old son of billionaires who has a super luxurious life paid by his parents without having to work or to do any efforts for one single day. When his parents are on the verge of a divorce, he finds himself disinherited, jobless, with no money and no home. But this is when he also falls in love with Beatrice (Olivia Wilde). Broke, living at his friend and not telling the truth, Conrad is having the most remarkable week in his life.Certainly, there is screen chemistry between Jason Bateman and Olivia Wilde and their romance could have been much more intriguing if it was not lost between pretentious, but meaningless dialogues which do nothing to change the overall feeling of watching a heartless movie. In addition to this, the second sub-plot line is also completely underdeveloped. The late-coming-of-age story surrounding the 40-year old Conrad is simply blunt and lacking any dramatic or emotional load. One would expect that Bateman would undergo a personal catharsis but this never quite happens. In the end, having all this in mind, one would feel as 86 minutes of his/her life were spent on watching stylish sequences, slick dialogues between the trio Bateman-Wilde-Billy Crudup and a sort of production that awfully resembles the ones of Wes Anderson (but without the typical dark, thought-provoking humor). That would probably annoy some among the audience, while others would prefer to quickly forget this poor directorial effort of Peter Glanz. Do not waste your time with this movie.
