Mark H (ca) wrote: This is a no bullsh*t, self aware, silly movie witch takes clichs and rips them a new one, it is over the top gore that is still tastefully humorous without overdoing it. While brief it packs a short sharp punch. I would love to see dolph reprise this role in the future or at least a similar role. His acting is on point in this and suits him perfectly.

Leena L (ca) wrote: Not too much singing and dancing and interesting story. if they only had cut about 45 minutes of the length.....

Lena T (br) wrote: Angelina Jolie is perfect for the role as Lara Croft. Great action movie with interesting plot.

Gary K (kr) wrote: Another under-appreciated horror film. Co-written and directed by Roland Emmerich, the movie puts a different twist on the "scary toys" motif of the 1980s ("Poltergiest" and "Magic"). Emmerich, who would go on to direct "Stargate," "Independence Day," and "The Patriot," uses the "evil dummy" to overcome the film's lesser moments and create an unsettling story. (The movie was originally released in the US with the title "Making Contact.")

Denise P (ag) wrote: Drenched literally in atmosphere and sustained with music that plucks the violin strings as beautifully as it plucks the heartstrings, The Ring is a groundbreaking horror remake that gets under your skin thanks to its peaceful tone, fully built story and an unforgettably creepy performance from Daveigh Chase.

Grant S (es) wrote: Quite disappointing after the first movie.Hellraiser II picks up where the first movie left off. Kirsty (played bu Ashley Laurence) is in an institution after her experiences of the first movie. She is then visited by the gang of ghouls we previously met...The first movie was quite original for a horror movie. (Not that this says much, as most horror movies are incredibly formulaic and predictable). The plot was fairly solid too, with good direction and special effects. This, the second movie, is not anywhere near as good. Plot feels random, unoriginal and unengaging. The story just lurches from one contrived, inexplicable horror scene to another. Not worth watching - save your time.

Anthony S (ru) wrote: No real plot, just one long drug haze, but some memorable moments come out of it.

Tom R (de) wrote: Clint Eastwood is great to watch and at his best. The supporting cast struggles with a very predictable and somewhat silly sidestory. Although I love Amy Adams and theres good chemistry between her and Clint Eastwood, it doesnt work that good with Justin Timberlake.
