(gb) wrote: an awful thai superhero movie that completely lacks any originality at all. the fight scenes are badly shot and the special effects are choppy and stupid looking. plus the mercury man's suit looks like a rip off of the spiderman venom suit. i highly recommend skipping this piece of crap.

(ru) wrote: Interesting spin on riddles, with some dark touches, Nemesis Game really isn't bad, it's just not that great either.
(ru) wrote: The acting is the sole reason to see this. Sylvie Testud's performance is the best acting I've seen from a female. It's an unnerving true story that will haunt you forever.

(kr) wrote: Despite their distinct styles, the comparisons between Prince and Bowie are staggering: same death year, extremely unique auras, supreme talent, sexual androgyny, purposed mystery, peerless and singular iconography, and one feature film each that fits their individual je ne sais quoi perfectly. Purple Rain is flawed for sure (problematic treatment of women, comically melodramatic acting), but the characters are interesting, the musical performances are killer, and it's filled with effortless coolness.

(br) wrote: This film stars: Ryan Phillippe, Salma Hayek, Neve Campbell and Mike Myers. It's a very slow film at it's best. It doesn't really speed up until about fifteen minutes in. The acting was okay and the storyline could've been way better. The only thing keeping it on it's toes is the both the direction and the acting. I could follow the story at least it had that going for it. It's really an awful picture if you look at it from an audience point of view. From a movie critic point of view just okay. The style was lacking a bit and the look of the film seemed like the color blue. I think this is a movie to skip for moviegoers. I wish I could've been to some screenings for this movie to warn moviegoers ahead of time.
