Larry A (de) wrote: Yes, this movie may come across to some as nothing but a commercial for the video game industry but even though it doesn't get into a lot of conflict and deep ito the subculture it has something to offer. For the non-gamer or the average person who casually has played some games, it offers a glimpse into why gaming is so popular and shows how we got where we are. The interviews with the Godfathers of gaming make it feel personal and real. Sean Astin does a great job narrating. It's a fun even though simple look at gaming's history.
Xavior M (ag) wrote: I have watched this movie several times. Every time I laugh at the goofballs. I respect Adam for both his comedy and his thoughtfulness to bring his friends along for his crazy rides. If only we all could have fun with our friends doing what we love.
Cameron M (br) wrote: Aside from Richard T. Jone's poorly written character, Why Did I Get Married blends comedy with marital drama well with a good cast and some reflective ideas on marriage.
Kevin M W (it) wrote: A simply melody of lost played quite elegantly in this road trip of a film as a monosyllabbic dad must find a way to talk to his own children his own way in only a short amount of time. Cusack et al only have a bare minimum to work with and yet what is accomplished is substantive. Particularly of interest is how barren the United States really is, a collection of places where people can buy things. This is an impressive thought poem and like poetry it is only for those in the mood for it.

James H (ca) wrote: A rather unthrilling thriller. Yet another dud from Dolph Lundgren. This on is about terrorists at an American base in Israel. Not very exciting, downright boring at times.
Cam B (ag) wrote: I absolutely loved this when I was a kid, and have memories of laughing at many of Malcolm's gadgets...but wouldn't have seen it for 20 years, I reckon, till I revisited recently. Found the first half a little more difficult this time around, as I was wondering how the relatively socially inept Malcolm came to be as he is - was it upbringing? a disability of some sort? But once Frank arrives and Malcolm's gadgets start to come out, it became oh so much silly fun once again. The most endearing bank robbers we've ever seen on film...
Mike M (ca) wrote: "Crawlspace" is the first effort from Australian writer/director Justin Dix. It's a modest film with a slim budget, but it doesn't entirely wave in front of your face.
Don S (us) wrote: I've read a couple of these novels, and Tyler Perry is miscast as the title character. He doesn't have the acting chops to pull of the range needed for the role. He didn't even look comfortable as Cross. The story is better than average and the performance by Fox as Picasso makes it watchable. Keep you expectations low and you may like it.
