Matthew Samuel M (ag) wrote: Unfortunately Personal Shopper, despite some promising moments, becomes an incoherent--albeit stylish--mess with no clear sense of self or direction. Stewart's understated skill would have worked in a better written, better directed film. However, Personal Shopper doesn't give her enough space or time, leaving the performance mostly underwhelming--if not at times, misplaced. What is most frustrating is that there were certainly elements of the film, if strung together in another lifetime, that would have made for an endearing thriller.

slippery w (nl) wrote: the story was deep and complex, the animation was Pixar quality, the voice acting was second-to-none. A masterpiece of modern films. (this review was a joke and is not to be considered seriously)

James O (jp) wrote: A superhero with a magic hammer saves the world and other worlds. He loses his powers but regains them b being great and defeats his evil brother who isn't actually a blood relation so it's ok to hate him. So, fairly standard plot but it's a decent film because the characters are convincing and the effects are quite decent. No idea why Jeremy Renner lookalike appears in this weird 3 minute cameo with a bow and arrow but that aside it kind of held together quite well.

Gwenllian L (ca) wrote: Alternately whimsical and serious, Jeffrey's the story of a regular guy who gives up sex just when he meets the guy of his dreams. Great movie, very funny and touching without ever becoming too preachy. And there's nothing that beats Patrick Stewart as flamboyant interior designer Sterling.

Carly G (fr) wrote: Not smart cinema--just pure fun. A jaunt in post-apocalyptia isn't adequate without fresh makeup, a change of clothes, and a new 'do every scene!

Luca D (nl) wrote: Un film che romanza fin troppo la vita dell'artista e che alla fine lascia ben poco allo spettatore.

CM N (gb) wrote: Realtively unknown and unappreciated, his film is fantastic and satisfying on all levels. Filmed in Africa and the UK. Beautiful scenery, violence, adventure, passion, loyalty and betrayal--this movie has it all.

Caleb M (de) wrote: I wanted to love it (what could be cooler than Japanese nuns torturing and making out with eachother?) but it never really gets interesting. Great idea, bland film.

Josue P (au) wrote: One of the more underrated Disney films with an awesome voice cast and musical score.

Nicolette H (kr) wrote: Found this enjoyable. It was funny and I thought the cast did a great job. It was a cool watch but I don't think I will own this.

Mark S (gb) wrote: This was an entertaining 85-minute story of a former Hollywood/music biz manager/entertainer. A lot of stories by which you'll say "no way!" but that appear to have some semblance of truth to them. The guy looks like Larry David ... but he's apparently a lot nicer!
