Elise P (es) wrote: This is a really nice light hearted film focusing on Alice (Alice Taglioni, The Pink Panther) an odd young woman obsessed with Woody Allen. Alice is quirky and funny which compensates for the rather generic romantic comedy plot. Much of the film is a homage to Woody Allen and his films, even down to Alice's reflections talking to her poster of Woody Allen. Overall it's a sweet and funny film, not too serious or deep.

Adam C (fr) wrote: It's a great dynamic, music documentary with a symbolic structure.

Briana S (gb) wrote: Wow, so this was the best horror flick overall that I've seen for a long time. It was kind of long, but man, it was totally worth watching and I'm seriously considering buying it for my collection.

Andrew J (es) wrote: A really interesting portrait of Bob Crane's career and death, even if you don't know anything about him you'll still be able to enjoy this

Cody C (au) wrote: I love this movie a lot and I've never understood why it's not revered as like a great monster movie. It's really well told, I love the pace and vibe, Henstridge is brilliant..The only thing that I can think of that's weak is the CGI, but who cares? I love it start to finish.

Libby T (mx) wrote: I really freaky movie. It kept my interest but didn't scare me.

Max G (us) wrote: "Hellraiser" has an excellent concept and offers plenty of gore. Everything from the atmosphere, script, and characters are great. The story is disturbing and unpredictable. Some of the special-effects are cheesy but that is not surprising considering the time the film was made.

Justin E (it) wrote: "He is depraved, sadistic rapist!...a bloodthirsty, homicidal killer!... and he makes house calls" screamed the vhs box art for dr. butcher md. how could I not rent it? but little did I know the true horror that awaited me... one third cannibal film, one third zombie film, one third mad scientist running amok and 100fuckingpercent italian!! this movie never tried to be anything more than dumb fun and succeeds ten fold. the acting is bad, locations are exotic, creature make up ranges from the spaghetti standard to pre-schooler level and the gore is poured on thicker than stag chili!!! retitled for north american consumption (and surprisingly left in tact gore wise), this film is known as "zombi holocaust" in its native italy. don't miss your appointment with doctor butcher or you may get a surprise knock at the door...

Reggie S (kr) wrote: Never surrendering his vision for easy watchability, Kubrick's deliberate pace strips away some of Barry Lyndon's potential entertainment value - a trade-off which, for me, often fails to incite the same thought-provoking wonder of the comparably slow 2001 or The Shining. When the film shines, however, it does so with brilliantly-acted dark humour, a stirring score, and the kind of grandeur that I and my self-admittent, attention-span-challenged kin might agree as simply beyond them - the meticulous beauty of an 18th century art gallery.
