(ag) wrote: Absolutely stupid beyond reason. Ashley Judd should consider retiring from acting. It's almost like she phoned in her role in this garbage of a failure. This film clearly proves she cannot act at all. Do not recommend to anyone!
(it) wrote: While this film is no Woody Allen masterpiece, it's no failure either. The story is outrageous and the plot overall is a bit undeveloped but Allen's neurotic characteristics and witty humor seems to work really well in this film.

(us) wrote: 87%Watched this on 28/11/16Who would have guessed that the Arthurian tale was so sorroful and tragic? This is by far the most intriguing take on the legend that I have ever seen. It benefits from terrific visuals, cinematography, infuriating music and much more.Though it has a lot of Irish actors who would become famous in the years that followed, the acting department is generally week barring Nicol Williamson as Merlin. There is enough magic, dread and heart in this tale to make it memorable. The sword could be seen as the real hero here or more accurately it's writer director John Boorman himself as the film neither tries to focus too much on any of its characters nor does it try and glorify.
(jp) wrote: One of the best French films ever. Blier, Carmet and a young Depardieu rampage around urban and rural France in a mad swirl of murder and general silliness. The dialogue is of the highest quality, fast-paced, incisive, and supremely funny. Most entertaining and yet a premonition of things to come in the now delapidated urban ghettos that France was building at the time. Strongly recommended viewing.

Immediately following the wedding, upon the church steps, Julie Kohler's husband is murdered! As a widow she is hell bent on taking revenge on behalf of her husband at whatever cost against the five murderers. She is seductive, smart, and a cerebral assasin. I found myself constantly questioning the next steps only to be surprised by the character's brilliant planning of revenge upon each man. Rarely do I find myself screaming at the screen in praise but this was a brilliant film that challenges the viewer while offering a strong Hitchcock-like vibe. This film has no need to include amazing scenes of violence because the story itself captures the imagination like no violent scene ever could. By the way, the end twist was amazing - just when you think all hope is lost. A fantastic film from 1968 which can now be rented on DVD and so I say RENT IT.

The girl runs to the police and a private investigator tries to help the girl find the kidnapper. This only infuriates the kidnapper worse and puts additional pressure on the girl to follow his demands. Can the girl and the private investigator capture the kidnapper or will the kidnapper get away with the girl's money?"There's nobody here.""I think you're wrong."Blake Edwards, director of The Pink Panther, Revenge of the Pink Panther, Son of the Pink Panther, The Party, Switch (1991), Blind Date, Sunset, and Curse of the Pink Panther, delivers Experiment in Terror. The storyline for this is a little clich in some ways, but has some unique qualities with the villain interactions with the main character. The acting is as you'd expect for this era and solid. The cast includes Glenn Ford, Lee Remick, Stefanie Powers, Ned Glass, Clifton James, and Ross Martin."The doctor says if I was a building they'd condemn me."I came across this on Turner Classic Movies (TCM) this Halloween season and decided to give it a shot. This is a classic desperate dame finds over-zealous private eye movie with some "When a Stranger Calls" elements mixed in. This may not be an all time classic, but it isn't a waste of time either. I recommend giving it a viewing."Is somebody there?"Grade: C+/B-
