"ALWAYS WILL" centers on the tumultuous years of a high school adolescent who discovers a time capsule that allows him to achieve the kind of popularity that every teenager yearns for. As the story begins, we discover that things rarely go Will’s way. A relative unknown at school, his close friends from grade school have drifted apart from him and his relationship with his stepfather has bred a home life that’s less than welcoming. The only comfort he finds is in the honest conversations that he shares with his loving mother, Lydia. As understanding as she is, her reassurances are not enough to alleviate the insecurities that nag him daily.

(de) wrote: I think this movie was worth watching if for nothing else than the beautiful cinematography. This movie was very visually pleasing and is left up to interpretation as to how you will find the ending.
(ca) wrote: Reichardt's best movie to date. Goddamn, is this sad.
(de) wrote: Driven by the charisma of the cast with some warmth and sad moments throughout, while it was sort-of flat when following a basic formula that fits its kinds' standards. Overall, it's still an enjoyably watchable film. (B)(Full review coming soon)

(de) wrote: The film starts of shaky but during the middle of the film it gets enjoyable. I enjoyed Kirstie Alley a lot in this film. Its a goofy film but it's fun.

(jp) wrote: I loved this movie when I was younger, and liked it now that I haveseen it again. Back then I thought Nicolas Cage's character was socool, now he is still kinda cool but man is there way too muchoveracting from Cage and pretty much everybody else, well except forSean Young, who kinda doesn't act, she is just there, like a cardboardcut out of her with a tape player saying her lines would have be justas real, maybe even better. Thankfully Tommy Lee Jones is great, and Ihave used the Full Tilt Boogie line a bunch of times. So, decent movie, cool helicopters and Tommy Lee Jones is just too awesome for his own good.2.5 Beards Out Of 5
