Faris S (es) wrote: I physically can't watch this film. I try watch it but when he's humping a teddy, that's when you know it's just silly and stupid, not funny.

Alice C (nl) wrote: Great movie portraying lives of a simple family during the 60s. It is also an autobiography from the director, and it feels especially nostalgic for me even though I wasn't alive during that decade because they portrayed a Diocesan school. The whole film is portrayed from the viewpoint of a little boy, experiencing life as it goes, while exposing social problems in Hong Kong in the 60s (rich-poor gap, corruption, etc). It makes you feel warm and sad at the same time.

Duncan S (it) wrote: A film showing how to be successful in dating, with two men who obviously dont get out very much. Dreadful

Dustin G (nl) wrote: This is definitely geared towards people who like and actually enjoy doing crosswords. I don't. I was always more of a word search type, so right off the bat I'm at a disadvantage as far as entertainment value's concerned here. But it's really well made and interesting to see the way the crosswords are created. I really didn't find it as suspenseful as some who'd have you believe this is a nail biter. But it's nice to sometimes be exposed to a part of the world you didn't know existed and the colorful characters that inhabit it, in this case 'world championship' of cross wording. Yup, there's a best of competition for everything. Everything. Give the movie an extra star if you're a crossworder.

John J (us) wrote: Not about the Rolling Stones as much as it is about a normal guy obsessed with the idea of celebrity. Paddy Considine is a great actor.

Samantha S (kr) wrote: Not terribly good but a gorgeous movie.

Ellen F (gb) wrote: My 2nd favorite romantic comedy, after Moonstruck.

Serge L (br) wrote: The university movies are a dime a dozen. A bit formulaic. The monsters have to prove themselves to be scare worthy. It's a prequel so the monsters had not yet found that laughter was paying more. Whatever... it's watchable and the animations are really getting great. Textures and all.

Isadore H (fr) wrote: I love it when I watch a movie and the cast seems to be having loads of fun in it, and with a cast like this one, it is really fun to watch. Red isn't revolutionary by any means, but it has the feeling of being very rewatchable for me. I throughly enjoyed the great special effects and the over the top, but still fun action. Red is the definition of a fun film to watch, but it doesn't quite live up to what it could be, still a very good time though

Andy C (br) wrote: Does it really matter that this extremely ordinary person is having what she thinks are bizarre reactions to chemicals? Maybe they are caused by pesticides, maybe they aren't. I see the intrigue there, but she's just so dull, it's hard to care.

Vincent P (us) wrote: The second half (i.e. the half that doesn't offer up endless conflict for conflict's sake) is actually pretty suspenseful... But then it all just ends unhappily and so many things are left unexplained and unexplored. I'd call it lazy writing but I highly doubt there was more than three pages worth of outline because lines just get repeated over and over and over again...
