Chronological look at the life and career of Johnny Carson (1925-2005), with commentary from an ex-wife and more than 30 fellow comedians, friends, employees, and biographers. The biography defines why Carson was an enduring star (his cool, his timing, his genuine laugh, his breadth of knowledge) and pursues his motivations and inner self (a loner with a drinking problem, a decent Midwesterner whose mother withheld approval, a quiet person who loved to entertain). The key to understanding him, argues the biography, is his love of magic. . You can read more in Google, Youtube, Wiki

Turns out if you get Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon to deliver their talents to the concept turns out it's pretty damn exciting. Turns out what you think would be a flop from David Koepp is actually one of the best films he's ever directed. It stands alone and there should never be a squeal. It can forever remain as a pleasant surprise in the history of action movies.

Bill C (jp) wrote: Strange movie. It was just a payday for SJ. He just ditty bopped around acting like chopping off fingers was nothing out of the ordinary. I dint quite understand what emotion he was trying to portray, if any. It was totally detached. Felt like "Hey, lets hurry this up, I got a meeting coming up, cant be late." Decent plot, bad directing.

Nathan S (mx) wrote: Extremely dry and sharp film. The entire staff takes a summer holiday in the tropics. If you like the classic Sitcom, than you'll dig this film quite a bit. Not bad at all, in fact, it was funnier than most of the episodes.
