Jayakrishnan R (mx) wrote: 85%Saw this on 30/11/16About a boy is a comedy that doesn't work according to the well worn formulas and hence it does not tire the viewer out. The entire cast lead by Hugh Grant is good and this is one of those few comedies that I least regret watching. Movies of this nature are not made nowadays.

Kristelle L (mx) wrote: Wow, everything a classic flick would offer! All the cast are great actors, they fit well with their characters and it doesn't feel force or anything. The story's kind of cliche (because I have only watched it at this time of the year and it's been a decade!) This is a very clean and fresh teenage romance classic flick I would probably still enjoy watching after a decade or more.

Ro T (jp) wrote: This is a hilarious, intriguing, interesting look at the behind the scenes work of a film crew lead my Maggie Cheung's role as a Chinese actress working in a foreign land where poor English is the only common ground. The movie premise is a remake of an old silent series called "Les Vampires". Nathalie Richard is especially alluring as Zoe, the costume designer who developpes a crush on Maggie Cheung's character. The dialogue is fast-paced and brilliant as the crew competes for attention and work. Superb film.

Cam B (ag) wrote: Scores half a star simply because I cannot award it zero. Banderas runs between two wives in Griffith and Hannah in a movie that was chosen for a few of us while I was at uni by a parent who thought we were about 10 years younger and would find it funny. We reached the conclusion that no matter what age we were, this embarrassing, painful, pointless tale would not have been enjoyed on any level. Has destroyed Banderas for me ever since, and is the film I cite when asked for the worst ever.

Ryan G (mx) wrote: Ben Kingsley's acting and Polanski's directing are the best parts but they sadly cannot totally save this film with it's poor writing and sub-par performance from Sigourney Weaver.

DC F (gb) wrote: Intentionally silly and the cast seemed to have fun making this film. I believe this is the best Ernest movie out there (not that the others are bad either). This can pretty much be seen as an entertaining family movie and feels good.

deep d (ag) wrote: I'm not a big Burt Reynolds fan but give this movie a try and you might be surprised by what a wonderful performance he gives. And I cannot rave enough about Jill Clayburgh and Candice Bergen, who are absolutely wonderful (both were nominated for Oscars). I think this is Ms. Clayburgh's best performance--she is so funny and you really care about her insecure character. And Ms. Bergen really gets to display her comic chops as she plays a self-centered aspiring "singer"--her music moments are priceless. Such a witty script--and if you know and love Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen and Austin Pendleton--who show up in supporting roles--be sure not to miss this one!

Addie A (fr) wrote: I liked it, but sad ending....even though it's what really happened...fun dancing and costumes, cute main actors.

Tatsuhito K (mx) wrote: It is predictable, but its heartwarming spirit and the lead performances compensate the film's flaws. Will Smith and Kevin James have great chemistry together, and a lot of jokes hit the right spot. Hitch is a sweet and laugh-out-loud funny romcom.

Frank M (ru) wrote: wonderfully romantic and heartbreaking.

Ky K (de) wrote: It could be a serious theological horror film, unfortunately the movie falls on silly and absurd moments, leaving behind the promising dark sides.

Dan H (kr) wrote: A dumb, but entertaining film. Both Hart and Johnson do fine jobs (with Johnson being the clear standout as the big-hearted simple CIA agent). The script is pretty weak, but the film moves at an extremely fast clip. It's not really a good film, but it's fun while you're watching. Expect to chuckle throughout.
