Montana L (fr) wrote: I wanted to be liking this movie, but after sitting here thinking about it for a while, its message seemed to be that vegetarians are crazy? I don't know what this movie was trying to be. I liked everyone in it, and it had some good scenes, but this was a real mess. One takeaway, however: Zach Galifianakis is really quite an actor. Maybe I'm the last to know it, but he's got real chops beyond comedy.

Durwood G (es) wrote: Fascinating true story with spot-on acting by Gary Oldman and Alfred Molina.

Isadore H (jp) wrote: Die Hard is a classic Christmas movie starring Bruce Willis as a cop visiting LA. Die Hard manages to be both a high-octane action thriller and an overall fun movie to watch, there really aren't many negatives about this aside from being a tad long and predictable in my opinion. Bruce Willis is a badass and Alan Rickman eats the screen in his villain role. This is a great movie to pop in and watch without much trouble

Simon T (kr) wrote: Quirky, oddball, rather wonderful movie about a middle-aged couple celebrating their thirtieth wedding anniversary by bickering, falling out and finally rediscovering their affection for each other. Lovely truthful performances from Broadbent, Duncan and Goldblum; discreet direction by Roger Michell; and a lovely nouvelle vague score by Jeremy Sams. Hanif Kureishi's script only misfires when he goes for whimsy and the occasional airing of his personal peccadilloes. Lovely.

Daniel S (jp) wrote: I couldn't even make it all the way through this piece of senseless, pointless dreck. This movie cares about its cast of characters even less than I did, letting them wander around the plot like snails in a terrarium until the celluloid and/or your patience mercifully runs out.

Matt R (us) wrote: The combination of the survivors' recounting of the events and some incredible reenactments make for one harrowing documentary.

Barbara K (es) wrote: Horrific. I simply don't understand what Rauch was thinking. R foul-mouthed coach literally uses every card I've ever heard.... and for no reason. The plot is slow, the acting (by her) is stiff, and halfway through, I was rooting for her to take up heroin. Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.
