The story is solved quite easily and it seem like no problem to hunt down people even with a horse carriage as choise of vehicle. The acting felt a bit weak, but it's hard to tell since the language is very unheard by me. The sound mix is a very nice feature here, and sometimes the lightning is super as well. A poor film that could have been mistaken from an average 70's film if it wasn't for the great sound editing.

Harold Lloyd is absolutely great on camera and is able to emote a great range from his face along, let alone his body movements. The film is often very clever with its great attention to detail in it's sight gags and text jokes. The Boy as played by Harold Lloyd is a down to earth, loving character who is very relatable to a working class. The story covers a young man moving to the city to get a great job to impress his Mildred. The boundless antics that ensue are much akin to that of Chaplin or Keaton. What the story ultimately boils down to is a man trying ti impress a woman and the simplicity of it couples quite nicely with the extremely believable main character. He is the working man which often comes into play in humorous ways as he often finds trouble at work in the ways of a rush of women who storm the clothing store in which he works. Even trying to evade the punishment of his boss as he shows up to work late due to another instance of outlandish bad luck makes him relatable in the sense that he is always trying his best to improve his position and move the way up the company ladder for Mildred. The clime of the building is comedic genius and clearly the highlight of the film. It is difficult to compare the humour and brilliance of the metaphorical climbing of the company ladder as it were and it plays out beautifully.
