Brian C (au) wrote: Noel Clarke awesomely beat the crap out of an alien running amok in a storage facility. The other characters are just kind of there as fodder for the creature. Nothing new storywise is brought to the table, but the creature itself is really good

Wes S (ag) wrote: Odd Thomas is like watching a mystery backwards, with emotional (but low) tones and entertaining moments. The movie could have used a little more humor to take down some of the bleakness, and the twist ending-s play on a little too long. The title character is fun, but the other characters work well too.

Wes S (kr) wrote: As a Sci-fi channel film, it's surprisingly well, although it's not entirely good. Pumpkinhead isn't featured enough, and most of the story revolves around the bad guys, which honestly have no qualities to care about. There is a little CGI used, but the film has a good bit of practical effects too. Not to mention some familiar faces. Overall, it uses the Pumpkinhead mytho correctly, but doesn't offer anything new from previous films.

Avid C (nl) wrote: Foolproof is your typical heist film but with a nice "beginners" element. You have a basic blackmail to get the show rolling, but the different twists the scenario brings in can keep you guessing until the end.The acting is not stellar, but good enough not to distract you. There's also a caricatural feeling to it that's dosed just enough to keep the whole thing simmering with fun.The only real big drag, is the thing with the lasers... It seems that they all have to do it, and every time it's a question of contortion, as if alarm systems were that dumb. It's entertaining, it's intelligent, it's worth seeing even if it's not a master piece. It's an easy pick.

James H (nl) wrote: Good cast, especially Ed Harris. Not too bad, suspenseful thriller, but a bit slow at times and it is a little predictable. There were a couple of good twists. Lacks greatness but still it's quite watchable.

Jonathan I (au) wrote: Narcissistic but gives a clear view of Madonna. Sometimes feels contrived and manipulated, but hey, it's Madonna, so what else is new?

Bill T (kr) wrote: Oddly enough, just like Carry On Sergeant, the cast (which is, in large part, the same as the first), won me over with it's heart, when it really shouldn't. Essentially just a series of short gags set in a hospital. Hardly any character development. But this works. Why? Maybe it's just because noone is wasted, all the characters are interesting. Nothing lke ths could be pulled off today.
