Nick C (it) wrote: Although it feels strange and uneven, Personal Shopper offers a fantastic performance from Kristen Stewart, and it is one of the most haunting, riveting and unpredictable films I've seen this year, and it's making a good candidate for one of the best films I've seen this year so far!

It?s based on actual events in 1969. It?s hard to pick sides in this one. Both those working for the government and those working against it have lost their morale bearings in their effort to prevail. This is a manic, nerve-wracking story. Alan Arkin plays the ambassador and his performance is amazingly good.

Jason C (ru) wrote: I'm not entirely sure why this film has a relatively low rating; turning the focus of the standard zombie set-up from consumerism to teen romance works nicely and there are some very funny moments along the way. Admittedly it is no laugh riot but anyone who has either experienced young love gone wrong or seen it close up will find many wry observations as Zach gets the second chance he never deserved.

Austin G (nl) wrote: The movie suffers from going back in time to see other peoples' vantage points way too much. Unfortunately, it can't go far back enough to where you don't put the disc in your player.
