(au) wrote: Eh... It was okay. Like most TV shows gone to movies, it was just like one long episode from an ended series. Wasn't as funny as I hoped, but still a few laughs here and there
(br) wrote: It's not hard to figure out what movie this is 'inspired' by, but with minimal action, boring characters, and slow scenes of nothing, you'd be better off with Emmerich. It's the typical Syfy channel shlock, which drags on making the runtime feel twice as long. Daysaster is forgettable and skipable. .
(jp) wrote: This was a good little film. The two young lead actors prtrayed their parts well, especially Linehan who had to play a character with deeply conflicting factors in his life.Yes, the ending wasn't a great surprice, but that is more to do with this being a film in a genre where such endings are common. The film didn't telegraph the ending and the film taken as a whole was cohesive and made sense. This was a good drama, with well-played characters and a cast that will hopefully have more silver screen time in the near future.
(it) wrote: An interesting story about two boys accindentally switched at birth. The story's getting more interesting when they're parents finally found out the truth, especially when one's Israeli and the other Palestinien.Interesting and we'll acted, but I'm hoping for a better ending. If you're looking for a nice-lightweight-drama, you should see this. I'm not saying you must, but you should. My Rating : 3.5/5
(de) wrote: Very funny film. Despite its dark nature. Great acting.
(es) wrote: Documentary about Creation records. Possibly only of interest to people who listened to shoegaze back in the day. Or who liked Oasis, as it is Oasis heavy towards the end. Personally, I was about ready to turn it off by this point. This follows the story of Alan McGee more than anything, but there are people of interest interviewed. Quite a bit of Bobby Gillespie, Jim Reid and Mark Gardner, (unrecognizable), to name a few. Telescopes are barely touched and Slowdive not at all except a brief shot of the Souvlaki cover. This was a pleasant walk down memory lane, but there should have been more on other bands - I guess it's 1.40 run time was too brief to be properly extensive.

(gb) wrote: Thank you David Tennant for being. Or should I thank his parents? Or The Lord above. And Kelly MacDonald (which is the true name of Tennant) who is just brilliant. While its hard to hear her and not hear Merida, her performance is so beautifully vulnerable and quirky. Can I go to the outer Hebrides too? I actually like how they tie up Lara. That was a sweet detail.
(fr) wrote: Alright we all know the the big selling point of this movie in the dancing. So why is there so little of it and why is it that when it is there, it's only mediocre? I'm not quite sure why it's that way, but there is one thing I am sure of. The terrible drama scenes in this movie can in no way make up for the lack of good dancing.
(fr) wrote: Bad thriller but at least it isn't filled with PG levels of violence.
(gb) wrote: stupid but I can definitley see where the Ernest craze gets its charm and likeabilitythe late Jim Varney gives it his all mugging at the camera and performing silly jokes and antics for younger crowdsthe plot is anything but groundbreaking but theres some nice tender moments especially involving the bad kids wanting to change and belongbut for a kids' movie theres so much destruction and mayhem with explosions and vandalism! yikes better hope you don't try this yourself
(jp) wrote: Music? Bad.Acting? bad. Pacing? bad. So bad it is painful.
(au) wrote: This wasn't as amusing as I thought it'd be. I much preferred the sequel, "Scream, Blacula, Scream!", as it starred Pam Grier.
(fr) wrote: This stupid thing is by far the worst musical I have ever had the misfortune if watching. Not one song was even half-decent, and the plot was brainless and dumb. Of course, this is all complimented by shit acting and dialogue. Despite the little specks of humor in it, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is undeniably terrible and not worth anyone's time.
(kr) wrote: This film is like Scarface light, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The storyline is very similar but shorter, and the characters are all a lot more likeable. The acting is great and although drug smuggling is glamourised slightly, it brilliantly shows a transition from Johnny Depp's young ambitious drug dealer, to old prisoner who lost everything that meant something to him. Very rewatchable, even if it doesn't win any originality awards, and highly recommended.
(au) wrote: The beginning and the first breakout is actually rather fun. But soon we know exactly what will happen: Breakout tester Stallone gets screwed over and ends up in the proverbial unbreakable jail. His team-up with Schwarzenegger there is surprisingly unspectacular. It doesn't help that the plot relies on a lot of coincidence, suspension of disbelief or horrid planning by the bad guys. The action packed finale can't really pull the ship around. I fear it's time to phase the fact that you get better results watching reruns from the former action stars.
(ca) wrote: A really entertaining mystery comedy movie, the chemistry between Downey Jr. and Kilmer is pretty funny and the script is great, but the plot sometimes gets a bit messy and confusing.
(es) wrote: Hilariously inept horror film that isn't a terrible viewing experience. How can it be with lines like, "You have carte blanche, but you don't have a blank check."? But it's muddled, unscary, and derivative of Argento's mood and more bold color schemes.
