Tyson P (nl) wrote: ive never seen a movie as predictable as this in my life. honestly throughout the film i was saying "oh i bet another fish is gunna come" or "oh i bet a fish is gunna come through the walll" and sure enough it would almost instantaniouisly happen. for that reason howver this movie comes off as entertaining only because it is laughable. by no means a good movie though, just alright to laugh at.....but i guess you would already assume that from the title, right?.

Alex D (us) wrote: Ignore the bad reviews. French Stewart is absolutely absurdly funny and this movie is fantastic.

Louis F (au) wrote: Oh my god this movie sucks. It's awful. The script is awful, the acting is awful, the story is awful, a complete mess of a film. Don't see it. Don't see it high, don't see it sober, don't see it at all. It's really, really bad.Really.

Richard D (fr) wrote: A Stanley Kramer production that feels like what you'd get if you blended one of Kramer's "social conscience" productions with a spaghetti western. If that doesn't sound like a completely satisfying prospect to you, well then you're mostly right. George Segal plays a Confederate veteran who comes home to find that his Union-sympathizing home town has taken away everything he owned and don't plan on giving it back. Town honcho Pat Hingle doesn't want him around and ends up hiring mysterious gunfighter Yul Brynner to kill Segal. It's quite reminiscent of Eastwood's "High Plains Drifter", while a lot more liberal Hollywood slick that that flick. It is thoroughly entertaining if overwhelmingly slight.

Shantel D (ca) wrote: I haven't felt this sorry for a person for a long time. No one should ever have something like this life pushed on them... to be mistreated so horribly by your own husband - I can't imagine.
