Chloe (de) wrote: Despite this movie looking like a cheap copy of Hitch (and the trailer doing nothing to pursuade you otherwise) this movie was awesome. While it is mostly a nice smooth ride with no thinking, no emotional drain and no death Mr Fix It is anything but borring. The scenes in this movie evoke a feeling of warmth and it makes you feel lucky for what you have, or in my case warmth for what you wish you had. There are some really charming scenes with David Boreanaz and I honestly think they picked the right man as not many others could pull off the multitude of facial expressions he dispensed. Definitly a watch, Definitly a chick flik and Definitly a fantastic movie.

Adam L D (mx) wrote: Raunchy old school soft core comedy about a sweet innocent teeny bopper learning to charm the world with her "gifts". loads of nudity, but quite tame by today's standard. Some good double ententrade jokes and silly bits but not worth watching more than twice

Andrew K (ag) wrote: The songs are classic, but I wasn't impressed with the movie. I watch a lot of old movies and a lot of musicals, but I just couldn't get into this one. Annie was a little too over-the-top.

David S (gb) wrote: One of my favourite Disney live action films when I was growing up. Ustinov is brilliant as the title character and is obviously enjoying himself. He makes a good foil to Jones' straight man (although I found the latter's constant shouting a little irritating watching it now) and their Athletic scene is brilliant (Disney would pretty much recreate it a few years later in 'The Strongest Man in the World'). Jones is a great physical comedian (Disney always said that he was the best actor at acting with no-one) and him and Pleshette make a good couple. I reckon kids today would still enjoy this film.
