The creepy dolls then violently protect the nerdy teen from bullies who crash his older sister's party. Another case of producer/director/writer Band milking his Puppet Master formula of small toys wreaking havoc on regular sized people (i.e. Dollman, Demonic Toys, Dolls, Parasite Dolls, etc.). This one is not up to Dollman or Puppet Master standards, but it is better than "Parasite Dolls."

John B (br) wrote: Apparently there was a lot of talk about the teacher and whether he was all that he appears to be which is seemingly the perfect teacher. This film brings out all the warm feelings of nostalgia for those early days of learning with the first teachers that we loved. Incredibly sweet.

Chris H (gb) wrote: Often hilarious, doesn't overstay its welcome, and packed with legendary quotes. It's pretty ironic that Louie C.K. wrote and directed a blaxploitation spoof that trumps its closest competitor (the completely unwatchable, Undercover Brother) on SO many levels

Robert M (kr) wrote: I can't say I'm terribly surprised of the critic ratings, but the engagement, storyline, and Washington's wit were the saviors of the show. Fanning wasn't bad either. This was overall a neat and different action flick involving one of the most hardcore revenge missions and somewhat based on true events in Latin America. At times I did feel a little inattentive to some of the deep details, but nothing was slow or too boring for the most part.
Alexander P (ag) wrote: Each shot is like a sketch in this dry, minimal, super-stylish black comedy. In Stranger Than Paradise, Jarmusch's knack for drifter flicks was unleashed, and its pent-up, rhythmic beauty holds true 30 years on. 'It's Screamin' Jay Hawkins, and he's a wild man, so bug off'
