Gorkey G (jp) wrote: One of my all time favorites!

Gaby K (au) wrote: A really interesting film. Great songs, really interesting visual editing and a really clever mix between two separate timelines. Very good.

Penny K (us) wrote: Story is nothing more just the same with other gangster films. On the other hand, teach the social in good way.

Jonathan D (ru) wrote: This movie follows every boring cliche and doesn't take any risks to try to be funny. The script is uninteresting, the actors don't give two shits about their performances, and the slapstick is predictable -- ANYONE COULD GUESS WHAT COULD HAPPEN, EVEN MARTIANS! There are only TWO moments in this movie that could be considered "funny" but everything else seems like its forced, convoluted, and followed that 90s trend.

Vivian L (ca) wrote: The texture and concept is really interesting. Lots of cinematography standouts. But it frustrated me because of the stupid storyline

Louis L (ru) wrote: This classic has lasted the test of time. But like sushi, it's not for everyone. Samurai 1 is the first installment of a three part epic about Musashi Miyamoto, the legendary swordsman of feudal Japan. Modern audiences used to high flying kicks and action packed pyrotechnics will be disappointed. Samurai is a finely crafted film adaptation of the lengthy book. What the movie does well is capture the spirit of 17th century Japan and transports the audience to a different world and time. There is not much action. The interaction between the swordsman and the monk Takuan is the main focus of Samurai 1. Musashi is physically strong and a fearsome warrior. The monk makes him into a human being and a samurai.

Charles J (nl) wrote: Not the greatest of Stephen King's movies I've seen so far. But quite original.

Gabriel K (it) wrote: This British farce had me laughing most of the time, though some gags were a bit over the top. Easily forgettable, but it will entertain you for solid hour and a half.

Candy R (fr) wrote: Two rival reporters have to work together to uncover a conspiracy. Good cast.
